- Anneca made some research on the organisations we have discussed before. Made a excel summary of the types of activities and offering.

- Discussed if training can be used to encourage places on courses
- Not possible
- Training is interested in partnerships with these networks though!
- Maybe we could specifically share when courses are open
- Mentorship possibilties too
- Access to the AIUK platform
- Interested in scholarships / courses with undergrad/masters
- Some long term ideas of potentially co-developing courses with special interest groups (e.g., BCSwomen)

## Actions

- REG to find finantial support for BCS women independetly, but to start relationship to be included in the project.
- Engagement to be In kind instead of finantial.
- Write up offer, EDI to take lead on this.
- End of March to reach into potential partners.

- Next steps, peoples commitments, availabilities.

## Notes
- Deadline for next out-of-budget proposals: mid January.
- Could also aim for March if we can put together a better proposal!
- Erin has pointed out that they may have some resources which could be used with some of the orgs we are talking to which have data
- Aims and objectives of these partnerships?
- From REG:
- Original motivation is recruitment
- Good to build external relationships in general
- From Women in Data Science:
- Also interested in recruitment
- Research (data from these groups)
- At this stage not forming a partnership around but rather discussing access to data
- From Turing EDI:
- Increasing and adding to what is already out there, without redoing everything ourselves
- From REG: We want to use this to explore partnerships to scope out initially.
- What can the Turing offer:
- *Some* training capacity (REG)
- We also have existing courses
- Maybe some kind of preferential or early access to applying to the tutor ran courses
- **Would need to discuss with REG training leads first!**
- Can we have external (networking) groups in our spaces?
- Do we want to think about this?
- Maybe exposure to our own networks! Turing bullitins, advertising etc.
- We discussed not limiting ourselves to only women-focused networks

- Possible groups to think about, maybe not in scope for this meeting though?

- In the out-of-budget request we can avoid specifics on which groups (Amy suggested)
- Gives us wiggle room
- Can entertain other opportunities

- Need to talk to skills team to decide if we can offer courses (REG to follow up on!)

- Do they offer anything else?
- Are we being `fair` in terms of who we speak to

- and doing a summary of them is something that the EDI team can do!

- Work away on as and when we have time
- Make a firm decision on who/what we want to do by end of January (6-working weeks)
