### Swarm Downloader and Attachments on Dapplets Platform

#### Idea
We'll create a Dapplet augmenting the YouTube website to download the video to Swarm and then to attach it to any existing tweet.

**HIGHLIGHT:** YouTube search requests are redirected into Swarm and search results get injected seamlessly into YouTube search result list (Search Engine mocked up).

Next versions of the Media Downloader may download any type of content to Swarm or FairOS and attach it to any other content elements in web (specific content adapter required).

* Initial implementation was based on FairOS, but we had to fall back to pure swarm because we needed concurrent write operations from different users to the same POD, which is not possible now. (1)
* Because of (1) we have implemented a mapping YouTube Id to swarm hash in a smart contract and the storage in swarm directly. But it is a temporary workaround.

### OSM vector maps from Swarm

I have listed this here to have it "on the map".
Already got in contact with Zahoor and Lynn who are also working on adding OSM data. While their focus so far was on raw OSM data and raster tiles, my main focus is on vector tiles.

The tileserver of [Bike Citizens](https://bikecitizens.net) is available as data source (pls contact me if you'd like to also tap into it for any OSM related Swarm project).
