Due to the COVID-19 and 250+ students, this course will be given on-line asynchronously as possible. Based on this website, we will try to use [NTUCOOL](https://cool.ntu.edu.tw/login/), YouTube, On-Line Judge, HackMD, and google suite for the on-line lectures, homework(quizzes), projects, midterm, and final (wish it can be held in classroom then).

Lecture powerpoint recordings will be on-line in NTUCOOL or Youtube in .mp4 by EverCAM few hours before the lecutre. Please leave your notes, comments, or questions in NTUCOOL or [Lecture Notes](/Fy28YBZLT8uTn92lTWxUDw). We will answer anytime and on-line every Wed 10:00-11:00. Make an appointment to let me know if you want to discuss in person in my office on Wed 11:00-12:00. Or phone call in the period above.

## Grouping
* You can not change groups after March 11th. We will group or regroup for you if
* You are not in a group, or
* Your group does not have 5-6 members, or
* Your group members quit and are $\leq$ 3.
* Request to create new groups if you have a group $\geq$ 4 members or no group to join.
* Teamwork well to keep your members.
* For less virus infection, do not communicate too physically close.
* Do not help each other in exams, please let me know if there is any cheating.
* Each group prepares a web site in HackMD for your group and project 2.
* 0 or less scores for participation and project 2 if you do not follow.
* "weighted 50% by group leader" means 50% of the project scores will be weighted by the peer appraisal submit from group leader.
* If the TA gives A for a group with 5 members and the group leader gives B C B C C for each member (including himself), the scores will be A/2(1+B/average(B,C,B,C,C)), A/2(1+C/average(B,C,B,C,C)), ...
* If the leader or member can not reach concensus for the appraisal, your group will be investigated and we will give the final score.

## Scores
Grading (subject to change):

  Any group can do project 2 to score by II with self-designed subject 
of approval by the instructor (about with top 20% midterm scores). 
  Yes, that means you can do the assigned project 2 and be scored by I.
  Yes, you don't need to do project 2, and your project 2 will be scored 0.
  The quiz, midterm, and final exams need to be handwritten in the formal exam paper.
Then, with your handwritten name and ID, 
submit photo shoots of your answer in a file by NTUCOOL. 
Photoshoot in time (before the end of exam) with proof and submit asap.
Keep the exam paper intact for verification.
