# Project Plan

## 1 Introduction

The product is an Android app for comparing job offers and the users current job. Many factors like salary, location, days leave etc. can be compared to allow the user to find the best job.

## 2 Process Description
### Activities:
#### Requirements
- Activity description: Establish the needs of the user that the software is required to resolve. For this project done through analysis of the assignment 5 requirements, team project deliverables requirements and asking on EdStem for clarifications where necessary.
- Entrance criteria: Can be started immediately from beginning of project and reviewed throughout project.
- Exit criteria: Initial use case diagrams, documentation like a Use Case Model document to futher clarify use cases and requirements of system.

#### Analysis & Design

- Activity description: Move from a high level view of the system to a low one. Plan elemenents like the architecture, components, structure, interface etc that the system will be made up of.
- Entrance criteria: reasonably clarified requirements
- Exit criteria: diagrams and documentation that describe a system that can meet the defined requirements. For example UML, component and deployment diagrams, and UI mockups.

#### Implementation

- Activity description: create the designed system. The implementation should seek to:
- Reduce complexity for easier to understand and use code.
- Allow for modifications to be made easily in future by doing things like keeping the cohesion of individual components high and the coupling between them low.
- Structure so that testing can easily be implemented. For example by creating methods so they only do one thing which can easily be tested.
- Ensure requirements and any relevant standards are met.
- Entrance criteria: A defined design to be built.
- Exit criteria: a running app

#### Testing
- Activity description: validate that app performs as intended and is meeting customer requirements.
- Entrance criteria: defined requirements and designs
- Exit criteria: A mix of unit, integration, system and manual tests which, by being passed confirm the system is meeting relevant requirements.

#### Deployment

- Activity description: make the app available to the customer, as well as maintenance of the app eg dealing with bug reports or adding additional features if desired.
- Entrance criteria: a working app which is passing all relevant tests.
- Exit criteria: an app that is accessible for the customer to use.

- Project Manager: responsible for team submission on Canvas and that all deliverables in project requirements have been fulfilled.
- Test: responsible for writing code based tests or performing manual testing to ensure app features perform as intended
- Development: responsible for writing code that will run the app and allow the user perform all the use cases satisfactorily
- Documentation: responsible for creating and/or updating documentation files and diagrams.
