Introducing Suggest Edit
Last month we announced Suggest Edit, the easiest way to (you guessed it) suggest edits directly in your HackMD notes.
This widely requested feature allows you to correct typos, phrases, sentence structure, and any other copy edits.
Level up your collaboration efforts and streamline communication with Suggest Edit today.
Hide and Resolve your comments
You can now hide and resolve comments in your notes.
Instead of deleting or disabling comments to keep your note tidy, now you can simply hide or resolve comments. This means you can manage feedback and keep your public notes professional – all without losing valuable observations.
CMND+S shortcut
A new shortcut has been added to HackMD.
Sync the title and tags of a note to the metadata instantly. Simply use the command+S (Mac) or control+S (Windows) shortcut and it’s set.
🖋️ From the blog
Decentralize your documents with Arweave
Arweave, a blockchain-based storage platform, is live in HackMD. With this functionality, you can publish your work to the blockchain through the Arweave network.
By preserving your documents on the Arweave network, you’re ensuring your content remains accessible to everyone, while still fully immutable - unchangeable. This is particularly useful for content like whitepapers, research papers, DAO bylaws, community guidelines, or any other information intended for public consumption.
Back to Basics: What is Markdown?
Having efficient tools for writing and editing online is essential today more than ever. And one such tool is Markdown. We know, we’re speaking to the choir.
But last month we wrote a beginner’s guide to Markdown as a resource for new folks looking to learn more. Share it with your colleague, friend, or family member so they can start documenting in Markdown.
