Here at HackMD, we’ve always been about empowering collaboration and making documentation a breeze. As we’ve grown, we’ve realized it’s time for our visual identity to grow with us. We wanted a look that reflects who we are now and where we’re headed in the future.
So, without further ado, let’s dive into what’s new.
A fresh new logo
Our new logo is here! It’s sleek, modern, and represents the dynamic nature of our platform. Does it look a little familiar? The icon is inspired by a tool we use daily: the keyboard. It’s a nod to those documenting with HackMD and an appreciation that we create the products of tomorrow with the tools of today.
We’ve kept the essence of HackMD but given it a fresh twist that’s both professional and fun. We hope you love it as much as we do.
A modern feel
Along with a fresh logo, we implemented a new color palette that’s similar to our original scheme of charcoal grey and green, but more bold and vibrant. You may have even noticed we started to play with these colors on our social channels over the past year and even recently implemented them in the Dark Mode update.
We’ve given the entire site a makeover with this new feel in mind. Here’s what’s new:
