# Textures/Models/Visuals (Optional) :::danger :exclamation: NOTE: This version of the guide has been pretty much depreciated in favor of the new guide [here](https://vivanewvegas.github.io) :exclamation: ::: NOTE: I don't necessarily suggest using these mods. I don't think texture replacers are necessary, not to mention that they're not worth the drops in FPS, stutters, and increased crashes that may happen as a result. However, most people want texture mods in a guide like this, so here you go. All fully tested and fully functional. I will be going about the guide like you have installed all/most of the texture mods because I know a lot of people will. That means for mods that require patches for texture mods, the guide will say to install the patches. Obviously, don't install the patches if you don't use the mods.
