Important Update: RightsCon Toronto Session Merger Introduction

Dear Program Session Organizers,

Congrats again – your proposals have been accepted as a session for RightsCon Toronto! This year both of you proposed similarly themed sessions for RightsCon, and the program committee recommended that your sessions merge. The following proposals are what we are merging together as one program session:

• #611 - Citizen Facilitator Training: A workshop for aspiring g0v nobodies -organized by Patrick Connolly from g0v
• #236 - Civic Hackers Uprising - g0v.tw -organized by Wu Min Hsuan from Open Culture Foundation

Once you have connected with your co-organizer, please use this google form to update your session's title, description, and speakers. Moving forward, you will use #611 as the session ID number.

We are asking that this be completed by Friday, March 9, but the earlier the better. In order to ensure that your session is included in the program, we need to transfer your proposal into a public-facing session description.

The form allows you to: a) update your session description and provide updated speaker information, and b) indicate room layout and scheduling preferences. While session description and speaker information can be updated after March 9, it is very important that we receive your room format and scheduling preferences before March 9.

Note that while we do not expect for you to have all speakers confirmed by March 9, please list speakers you are confident will / are likely to participate.
