## Identity-related persona definition process
As suggested by the [Persona-Driven Identity](https://learning.vennfactory.com/products/digital_downloads/persona-identity) white paper:
* Discover and validate any [user persona](https://uxplanet.org/understanding-your-users-a-comprehensive-guide-to-creating-effective-user-personas-b3f347113749) definition work already done.
* Define any new personas needed, for example, those rooted in IAM roles, administrator privileges, or other security considerations.
* Add to the personas’ definitions:
* Relationships between personas.
* Capture whether each relationship is between different people or between aspects of the same person.
* Define the relationship’s compatible (benign) or incompatible (adversarial or conflicting) nature.
* Access constraints that should apply.
* Include constraints against establishment of any incompatible relationships, and any other relationship establishment preconditions.
* Cues that could be used to detect that a user is attempting to assume a persona.
* The persona’s user-assertable nature.
* Capture the extent to which multiple personas are currently represented by uncorrelated credentials or accounts.
* Review and maintain persona definitions regularly.
