## Notes
- What is Convene?
- online collaboration spaces
- focusing on groups of 6-8 ppl
- Hypha started all meetings with Jitsi, later moved to BBB bc it's more reliable
- Becoming an operational member
- Zinc could use Meet.coop's infrastructure by being a user member, no need to become an operational member
- ben: [Dedicated Custom Server](https://meet.coop) offering is GBP 250 a month, monitored and managed, use share secret, easy to build to its API for embedding
- alternatively, do what femProcomuns is doing, as op member piloting a reseller model
- ben: maybe Meetcoop can share the demo server secret with you to prototype, or Hypha can share
- Zinc interested in doing more mutually-beneficial collaboration with other coops, able to offer some amount of code review, pairing sessions on e.g. Ansible
- Meet.coop runs sociocracy-style
- Circles: https://hackmd.io/dvwznF1HTc6XuiLXZ5Sgaw?view
- Simply Secure is helping Meet.coop do some roadmapping as op member
- Working on new website, but not much in terms of web development resources
- Tech circle feels adequately staffed, but can always use more hands, because there is so much work that needs to be done
- Want to go from being purely a SaaS infra operation to working on features that improve BBB
- Let's start exploring first the tactical aspects of how Convene might use Meet.coop's infrastructure, perhaps as a user member. As we build our relationship, we can explore ways in which Zinc can move towards operational membership.
- Explore femPro model pricing and once at 5 customers at Convene look at dedi offering
- iFrame API in jitsi, what's the BBB version
- give secret? ping us in chat?
- Colombene is interested in helping figure out how people join or collaborate together
- Organisational Operations, Ben and Calix mostly doing this, but can use help
- the kind of work ppl are used to doing, plug into projects
- Zinc, developer heavy, but how to organize
- what is the coop equivalent of an "employee success" team?
- Ana and Colombene were at the Diglife event, points that resonate:
- the issues of open source, lack of user design, etc.
- sharing of how our internal processes actually work is helpful
- Oli's point about tokens that take properly accounts for early stage risk in investments
- Ben shared some of our internal processes, e.g. OC, how we do wage allocation
## Next steps
- ben: bring this to Org Circle
- ben: see if we can offer a server secret for Convene to prototype
- ben: see if Convene can use a reseller model like femPro and what that may look like
- zinc: continue discussion over email and forum, also Element.io
- meetcoop: #freenode_#meetcoop:matrix.org
- hypha: #hyphacoop-open:tomesh.net
- zinc: join [Xmas party](https://forum.meet.coop/t/meet-coop-xmas-party/432)
- zinc: around Jan we can revisit op membership if it makes sense
- Org WG and Tech WG roles potentially
