I built LLMClicks.ai because I was frustrated. Our own SaaS product was being mentioned in ChatGPT responses, which should have been great news. Except that AI was giving users completely wrong information about our pricing. Prospects would show up to demo calls saying, “I saw on ChatGPT that your Pro plan is $79 per month.” Our actual price? $49. When I clarified the correct pricing, prospects questioned our credibility. This wasn’t a Google ranking problem. We ranked #3 for our main keywords. This was an AI accuracy problem, and I had no way to detect it, let alone fix it. So I started testing every AI visibility tracking tool I could find. Over four months, I signed up for 10 platforms, ran the same 30 prompts through each one, and documented what actually worked versus what just looked impressive in demo screenshots. Here’s what I learned: Most AI visibility tracking tools count mentions. Almost none detect when AI is lying about you. The Problem Most Tools Miss During testing, I found our brand mentioned in 18 different AI responses across ChatGPT and Perplexity. Sounds good, right? When I manually checked those responses: 4 had outdated pricing 3 confused our features with a competitor’s 2 recommended us for use cases we don’t support 1 hallucinated an integration that doesn’t exist Every single AI visibility tracker I tested showed these as “positive mentions” because they only tracked visibility, not accuracy. For SaaS companies, being visible with wrong information costs more than being invisible. Those hallucinations were literally costing us deals. What This Guide Covers After testing 10 AI visibility tracking tools, I’m sharing exactly what I found: ✅ Which tools actually detect hallucinations (spoiler: only one did consistently) ✅ Real pricing for each platform (with transparent, publicly available pricing where possible) ✅ Honest pros and cons based on hands-on testing ✅ Which tools work for different budgets and team sizes ✅ Specific use cases where each tool wins or fails Full transparency: I run LLMClicks.ai, so I’m obviously biased. But I’ve included honest limitations for our own platform alongside every competitor. My goal is helping you choose the right AI visibility tracking software for your needs, even if that’s not us. Want to see what AI is actually saying about your brand right now What Is AI Visibility Tracking? (And Why You Need It) AI visibility tracking monitors how platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google Gemini describe your brand when users ask questions about your industry. What Gets Tracked Traditional SEO tools like Google Search Console or Ahrefs tell you where you rank for keywords. AI visibility tracking tools tell you: Whether AI platforms mention your brand at all Which specific questions trigger mentions How AI describes your product (accurately or incorrectly) Where competitors show up instead of you Whether your website gets cited as a source If AI is hallucinating features, pricing, or capabilities Why Traditional SEO Tools Can't Do This Here’s the critical difference: Google ranks web pages. AI platforms synthesize answers. When someone searches Google for “best agency management tools,” they see a list of 10 websites and click the ones that look relevant. If you rank #3, you get clicks. When someone asks ChatGPT, “What’s the best agency management tool for remote teams?” they get one direct answer. ChatGPT might mention 3-5 tools total. If you’re not in that answer, you don’t exist to that buyer. Worse, if ChatGPT mentions you with outdated information, the buyer makes decisions based on false data before ever visiting your website. That’s why AI visibility tracking software matters in 2026. How I Tested These AI Visibility Trackers To make this comparison fair, I used identical testing criteria for every platform. My Testing Process 3-step testing methodology used to evaluate 10 AI visibility tracker tools. Step 1: Created standard test prompts 30 prompts across 5 categories (brand awareness, competitive comparison, buyer intent, solution-seeking, feature-specific) Same brand (LLMClicks.ai) + 4 competitors tracked Tested on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot Step 2: Evaluated 8 critical factors Accuracy detection (does it catch hallucinations and wrong information?) LLM platform coverage (which AI platforms does it track?) Prompt discovery (automated vs manual prompt creation) Competitive insights (how deep is competitor analysis?) Actionability (generic advice vs specific fixes) Time to insights (2 minutes vs 2 weeks to see data) Pricing transparency (public pricing vs “contact sales”) Ease of use (can I set it up myself or need demos?) Step 3: Documented real results Setup time for each platform Time until I could see actionable insights Whether accuracy issues were detected Cost per month for comparable features Step 4: Listed honest pros and cons Including limitations I found in LLMClicks.ai during competitor research. The Surprising Finding Graph showing 90% of AI visibility tools track mentions while only 10% detect accuracy and hallucinations. Out of 10 AI visibility tracking tools tested, only one consistently detected when AI was describing brands incorrectly. Most tools excel at counting mentions. Very few validate whether those mentions contain accurate information. For SaaS brands where incorrect pricing or feature descriptions directly impact conversions, that’s a critical gap. Quick Comparison: 10 AI Visibility Tracking Tools Price comparison bar chart showing starting monthly costs for Otterly, LLMClicks, Peec, and Profound. LLMClicks.ai (Our Platform) – Accuracy-First AI Visibility Tracking LLMClicks dashboard displaying a 120-point AI accuracy audit, specifically highlighting a detected pricing hallucination in a ChatGPT response. Source: LLMClicks.ai AI Visibility Dashboard Best for: B2B SaaS, agencies, accuracy-critical brands Core strength: Detects hallucinations and incorrect information LLM coverage: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot Pricing: $49-$399/month Free trial: Yes (50 credits, no credit card required) Why I Built LLMClicks.ai After discovering ChatGPT was giving wrong pricing for our product, I searched for tools that could: Tell me when AI was describing us incorrectly Show me exactly what needed fixing Track whether fixes actually improved accuracy None of the existing AI visibility trackers did all three. They counted mentions but didn’t validate accuracy. So I built the tool I needed. What Makes LLMClicks Different 120-Point AI Accuracy Audit Instead of just counting mentions, LLMClicks analyzes: Pricing accuracy: Current plans, tiers, currency, promotional pricing Feature correctness: What you actually offer vs what AI claims Entity clarity: Does AI understand your category and positioning? Schema validation: Structured data AI systems read E-E-A-T signals: Expertise indicators AI trusts Competitor accuracy: How AI positions you vs competitors Hallucination Detection LLMClicks flags specific problems: Features AI invented that don’t exist Outdated information still being cited Brand confusion (AI mixing you up with competitors) Incorrect use case recommendations Wrong integration claims Actionable Fix List Rather than generic advice like “improve your content,” LLMClicks tells you: “Add FAQ schema to [specific URL] answering [exact question]” “Update pricing on [page] to match current plans” “Create comparison content for [Your Brand] vs [Competitor]” “Fix entity relationship between [Your Product] and [Category]” What I Like (Honest Assessment) ✅ Only tool in my testing that caught all 4 pricing hallucinations ✅ Fastest time to insights (2-minute audit vs hours of manual checking) ✅ Specific recommendations I can hand directly to our content team ✅ Tracks all major LLM platforms from one dashboard ✅ Agency features make client reporting simple Honest Limitations (Cons) ❌ Steeper learning curve than basic mention trackers ❌ More expensive than simple tools like Otterly ($49 vs $29) ❌ Requires action (not passive monitoring) to see results ❌ Smaller user community than established platforms ❌ Some features still in beta (we’re iterating based on feedback) When LLMClicks.ai Works Best SaaS companies with multiple pricing tiers or complex products Brands that have been mentioned incorrectly in AI responses Agencies offering AI visibility audits to clients Growth teams connecting AI visibility to pipeline metrics Anyone who needs to know “is AI telling the truth about us?” When It Doesn’t You only need basic “are we mentioned?” data Budget is under $50/month You want completely hands-off monitoring Your brand is so new AI doesn’t mention you yet My Testing Experience Setup time: 5 minutes Time to actionable insights: 2 minutes Most valuable feature: Hallucination detection that caught issues costing us actual deals Pricing Starter: $49/month (basic audit, 100 prompts, 1 brand) Pro: $149/month (full audit, competitor tracking, 500 prompts) Agency: $399/month (unlimited brands, white-label, multi-client dashboard) Start risk-free with a 14-day trial – no credit card or commitment needed. 2. Otterly.ai - Budget-Friendly visibility platforms Source: Otterly.ai Dashboard Best for: Small teams, budget-conscious testing, basic tracking Core strength: Affordability and simplicity LLM coverage: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini Pricing: $29-$489/month Free trial: 14 Days Overview Otterly.ai is often the first tracking software teams try because it’s affordable and straightforward to set up. What Otterly Does Well Easy Setup: Creating my account and setting up tracking took 8 minutes. You enter your brand name, select LLMs to monitor, and start getting reports. Affordable Entry Point: At $29/month, Otterly is one of the cheapest paid options for AI visibility tracking. Good for testing whether AI visibility matters for your business before bigger investment. Clean Dashboard: The interface is intuitive. You see: Total mentions across platforms Which prompts triggered mentions Whether citations were included Basic sentiment scores Multi-Platform Coverage: Otterly tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini from one dashboard. Where Otterly Falls Short No Accuracy Detection: This is the critical gap. During testing, Otterly showed our brand mentioned in 18 prompts. It marked all 18 as “positive.” When I manually checked, 4 contained wrong information. Otterly caught none of them. No Hallucination Alerts: If AI invents features or gets your pricing wrong, Otterly won’t tell you. You have to manually review every mention. Manual Prompt Creation: You create every prompt yourself. No automated discovery of what people are actually asking AI about your category. Limited Competitive Depth: Otterly shows if competitors are mentioned but not why they’re being recommended over you or what specific advantages AI attributes to them. Pros ✅ Most affordable paid AI visibility tracker ($29/month) ✅ Simple setup under 10 minutes ✅ Good for basic “are we mentioned?” tracking ✅ Clean, beginner-friendly interface ✅ 7-day free trial to test fit Cons ❌ Zero accuracy or hallucination detection ❌ No validation of pricing, features, or positioning ❌ Shallow competitive analysis ❌ Manual prompt creation required ❌ Basic reporting unsuitable for agencies Best Use Cases Small teams wanting baseline visibility data Early-stage SaaS checking if AI mentions them at all Solo founders with under $50/month budget Quick testing before investing in comprehensive tools Not ideal for: Brands worried about AI accuracy Teams needing competitive intelligence depth Agencies requiring client-facing reports My Testing Experience Setup time: 8 minutes Time to insights: 24 hours (data collection period) What I liked: Simple mention counts across platforms What I didn’t: Missed all 4 accuracy issues in our mentions When it works: You’re in early exploration and just need to know if AI is talking about you at all. When it doesn’t: You’ve been mentioned with wrong information and need to detect and fix it. Pricing Starter: $29/month (1 workspace, 15 search prompts, 4 LLMs) Premium: $489/month (Unlimited brand report, 400 search prompts, full coverage) 3. Peec AI - Competitive Benchmarking for Agencies Source: Peec.ai Dashboard Best for: Agencies, competitive intelligence, established brands Core strength: Side-by-side competitor visibility comparison LLM coverage: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot Pricing: €89-€499/month Free trial: 14 days (Card Required) Overview Peec AI focuses heavily on competitive benchmarking, making it popular with agencies managing AI visibility for multiple clients. What Peec Does Well Competitive Comparison: Peec’s standout feature. You can track up to 5 competitors simultaneously and see: Relative mention frequency Share of voice by prompt category Platform-specific visibility (who wins on ChatGPT vs Perplexity) Sentiment comparison Agency-Friendly Reporting: Peec is built for client work: PDF exports with custom branding CSV downloads for analysis Date range customization Professional visualizations Prompt-Level Insights: For each tracked prompt, Peec shows which brands were mentioned, their position in responses (1st, 2nd, 3rd), citation status, and basic sentiment. Multi-Client Management (Pro): The Pro plan includes: Multiple client brand tracking White-label report options Team collaboration tools Where Peec Struggles Best for Known Brands: During testing, Peec worked well for tracking established brands AI already knows. For newer SaaS products with limited mentions, insights were limited. Limited Accuracy Validation: Peec tracks “sentiment” (positive, neutral, negative) but doesn’t validate: Pricing accuracy Feature correctness Category positioning I found mentions Peec marked “positive sentiment” that contained outdated pricing information. No Hallucination Detection: Like Otterly, Peec doesn’t flag when AI invents details or confuses brands. Higher Cost: At €89-499/month, Peec costs 2-3x more than basic trackers, though agency features may justify it. Pros ✅ Best competitive benchmarking I tested ✅ Professional client-facing reports and exports ✅ Multi-client dashboard on Pro plan ✅ Coverage across 5+ major LLM platforms ✅ Good prompt-level visibility breakdowns ✅ 14-day trial available (Card Required) Cons ❌ Works best for established brands (weak for new SaaS) ❌ No accuracy or hallucination detection ❌ Sentiment tracking misses misinformation ❌ More expensive than comparable tools ❌ Interface complexity for simple needs Best Use Cases Agencies managing AI visibility for clients Established SaaS brands wanting competitive intelligence Marketing teams building executive-level AI reports Organizations needing professional exports Not ideal for: New brands without existing AI visibility Teams primarily concerned with accuracy Solo founders without agency needs My Testing Experience Setup time: 15 minutes (more complex than Otterly) Time to insights: 48 hours (competitive data takes longer) Most valuable: Seeing exactly which prompts competitors dominate Pricing Starter: €89/month (1 brand, 3 competitors, 25 prompts) Enterprise: €499/month (5 brands, 10 competitors, 300+ prompts, white-label) 4. GetAiso - AI Content Optimization Platform GetAiso platform showing content analysis and schema markup recommendations to improve visibility in AI answers. Source: GetAiso Dashboard Best for: Content teams focused on optimization Core strength: Content recommendations for AI visibility LLM coverage: Limited (optimization-focused) Pricing: $75-$1250/month Overview GetAiso takes a different approach than pure tracking tools, focusing on content optimization to improve AI visibility. What It Does Analyzes your content for AI-friendliness Suggests pages to optimize Recommends schema markup additions Identifies content gaps vs competitors Where It Falls Short Limited ongoing tracking capabilities No public pricing (requires sales calls) Unclear LLM platform coverage No accuracy detection Pros ✅ Content-driven optimization guidance ✅ Schema and structure recommendations ✅ Good for content-led teams Cons ❌ Limited tracking depth ❌ Requires sales process (no self-serve) ❌ No accuracy validation ❌ Unclear methodology Best for: Content teams wanting optimization guidance more than ongoing tracking. 5. Profound - Enterprise AI Visibility Platform Source: Profound Dashboard Best for: Fortune 500, large enterprises Core strength: Scale, compliance, multi-brand tracking LLM coverage: 8+ platforms (most comprehensive) Pricing: $99-$399/month Overview Profound is one of the earliest AI visibility platforms, built specifically for large organizations with complex needs. What Profound Does Well Comprehensive Platform Coverage: Tracks more LLMs than any competitor – ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Meta AI, Grok, plus emerging platforms. Automated Prompt Discovery: Profound automatically finds: Category-relevant queries Competitor mention triggers Trending topics Seasonal patterns Enterprise Features: SOC 2 compliance SSO integration Role-based access Audit logs Custom data retention Multi-Brand Support: Built for organizations managing multiple product lines, regions, or business units. Where Profound Falls Short No Self-Serve: Can’t sign up and test yourself. Requires sales calls, custom scoping, contracts, and dedicated onboarding. Extremely High Cost: Pricing starts around $99/month (limited tracking) & $2000/month for enterprise with annual commitments. Out of reach for startups, small agencies, or individual SaaS brands. Limited Accuracy Validation: Despite sophistication, Profound tracks mentions and positioning but not accuracy. I didn’t see hallucination detection or pricing validation in demos. Complex Interface: Overwhelming for teams wanting simple answers. Pros ✅ Most comprehensive LLM coverage (8+) ✅ Automated prompt discovery at scale ✅ Enterprise compliance and security ✅ Multi-brand and multi-team support ✅ Dedicated customer success Cons ❌ Extremely expensive ($2K+/month) ❌ No self-serve access (sales required) ❌ Complex for small teams ❌ No accuracy detection ❌ Annual contracts only Best For Fortune 500 with large budgets Global enterprises, multiple brands Organizations with compliance needs Companies spending $100K+/year on marketing tools Not for: For the starter pack of $99/month, there are limitations. ChatGPT Tracking Only & 50 prompts tracked. Need enterprise features at startup pricing? 6-9. Other AI Monitoring Tools (Quick Reviews) 6. Ziptie – Google AI Overviews Specialist Focus: Only Google AI Overviews (not ChatGPT/Perplexity) Best for: SEO teams with heavy Google focus Limitation: Misses conversational AI platforms 7. Waikay.io – Prompt-Level Monitoring Focus: Tracking specific prompt performance Best for: Research and experimentation Limitation: No accuracy detection, manual prompts 8. Goodie – Free Tier Option Focus: Lightweight visibility snapshots Best for: Solo founders, quick checks Pros: Free tier available Cons: Very basic, no accuracy layer 9. Scrunch – Enterprise Content Optimization Focus: Content-led optimization + tracking Best for: Large content operations Limitation: High cost, complexity 10. AI Product Rankings - Completely Free Alternative AI Product Rankings free search interface displaying a list of where a software product ranks in AI-generated recommendations. Source: AI Product Rankings Dashboard Best for: Anyone wanting free AI visibility checks Core strength: Zero cost, no signup required Coverage: Various AI platforms Pricing: Free What It Is AI Product Rankings isn’t a traditional tracking tool. How It Works Go to the website Search your product or category See free rankings across AI platforms No account, no credit card, no catch Pros ✅ Completely free forever ✅ No signup or email required ✅ Quick way to check basic visibility ✅ Good starting point before paid tools Cons ❌ No ongoing tracking or monitoring ❌ No historical trends ❌ No alerts when visibility changes ❌ Limited to ranking data Best for: Anyone wanting to check “does AI mention us at all?” before investing in tracking software. How to Choose the Right AI Mention Tool Based on four months of testing, here’s my framework for choosing the right platform. If Accuracy Is Your Priority Choose LLMClicks.ai if: You have complex products with multiple plans You’ve been mentioned with wrong information Pricing or feature errors cost you conversions You need specific fixes, not just reports Budget: $49-199/month Choose Otterly if: You only need basic mention counts Accuracy isn’t critical yet Budget is under $30/month You’re in early exploration If You’re an Agency Choose Peec AI if: Competitive benchmarking is your main value You need client-facing reports You manage multiple brands Budget: €89-199/month per client Choose LLMClicks.ai Agency if: Clients need accuracy audits + recommendations You want white-label reporting You focus on results over data Budget: $399/month unlimited clients If You’re Enterprise Choose Profound if: Budget is $2K+/month You need SOC 2 compliance You’re tracking dozens of brands Automated prompt discovery at scale matters Choose LLMClicks.ai Agency Plan if: You want accuracy detection with enterprise features You need faster deployment Custom pricing available If You’re Budget-Conscious Start with: AI Product Rankings (free check) Goodie free tier (ongoing monitoring) Otterly ($29/month when ready) LLMClicks.ai ($49/month when accuracy matters) What to Look for in AI Visibility Tracking Software Based on testing 10 platforms, these factors matter most: 1. Accuracy Detection (Critical) Most important feature. Being mentioned with wrong info hurts more than not being mentioned. Look for tools that validate: Pricing accuracy Feature correctness Category positioning Competitive comparisons Tools with this: LLMClicks (comprehensive), Peec (sentiment only) Tools without: Otterly, Waikay, Goodie, Ziptie 2. LLM Platform Coverage Minimum viable: ChatGPT + Perplexity + one other Comprehensive: 5+ platforms Priority order: ChatGPT (largest user base) Perplexity (growing fast) Google Gemini (Google ecosystem) Claude (technical users) Google AI Overviews (if Google Search matters) 3. Prompt Discovery Manual (time-intensive): You create every prompt Tools: Otterly, Waikay Automated (saves 10+ hours/month): Platform suggests relevant prompts Tools: LLMClicks, Profound 4. Time to Insights From my testing: Fastest: LLMClicks (2 minutes) Fast: Otterly (24 hours) Medium: Peec (48 hours) Slow: Profound (2+ weeks due to enterprise onboarding) 5. Pricing Transparency Red flags: “Contact sales” for pricing No public pricing pages Required demos before costs Green flags: Clear pricing on website Self-serve signup Free trials or tiers My Recommendation After Testing 10 Tools If I wasn’t building LLMClicks.ai And had to choose a competitor, here’s my honest take: For most SaaS companies: LLMClicks (Obviously biased, but accuracy detection + specific recommendations + reasonable pricing is why I built it) For budget-conscious testing: Otterly At $29/month, it’s affordable for baseline mention tracking if accuracy isn’t critical yet. For agencies needing pretty reports: Peec AI Best competitive benchmarking and client-facing exports I tested. For Fortune 500: Profound Scale and compliance justify the cost for large enterprises. For free checks: AI Product Rankings Good starting point before investing in paid tools. The Core Problem with Most AI Visibility Trackers After testing 10 platforms, one pattern was clear: Most AI visibility tracking tools measure popularity. Very few measure accuracy. Being mentioned frequently doesn’t matter if AI is describing you incorrectly. During my testing, I found brands with: High mention frequency + wrong pricing = lost deals Lower mentions + accurate info = better conversion Competitive positioning + hallucinated features = damaged trust The question isn’t “Are we mentioned in AI?” The question is “What is AI saying about us, and is it true?” That’s the problem LLMClicks was built to solve, and why accuracy detection became our core differentiator. How much do AI visibility trackers cost? Free: AI Product Rankings, Goodie (limited) Budget: Otterly ($29-79/mo), LLMClicks.ai (Free Trail Available) ($49/mo) Mid-range: Peec (€89-199/mo), LLMClicks.ai Pro ($99/mo) Enterprise: Profound ($2,000+/mo), Scrunch (custom) Most SaaS teams start with $50-150/month tools. What's the best free AI visibility tool? AI Product Rankings offers completely free lookups with no signup. Goodie has a limited free tier for ongoing monitoring. Both lack accuracy detection and competitive insights available in paid tools. Start Tracking Your AI Visibility Today After testing 10 AI visibility tracking tools, here’s your action plan: Week 1: Get Your Baseline Run free check at AI Product Rankings Try LLMClicks free audit (shows accuracy issues) Manually test 10 prompts in ChatGPT Week 2: Choose Your Tool LLMClicks if accuracy is critical ($49/mo) Otterly for basic tracking ($29/mo) Peec for agency work (€89/mo) Week 3: Fix What’s Broken Implement specific recommendations Add missing schema Fix incorrect information Create content for missing prompts Week 4: Monitor Results Set up weekly tracking Connect visibility to pipeline Report to stakeholders The brands winning in 2026 are those controlling their AI narrative early. Start now. FAQ: AI Visibility Tracking Tools Q1. What is an AI visibility tracker? Ans: An AI visibility tracker monitors how platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google Gemini mention your brand when users ask questions. Unlike SEO tools that track keyword rankings, AI visibility trackers measure presence in AI-generated answers where users don’t see lists of links. Q2. Why does accuracy matter more than just mentions? Ans: During my testing, I found being mentioned with wrong information (outdated pricing, incorrect features) causes more damage than not being mentioned. Prospects who research using AI arrive at demos confused or skeptical, reducing conversion rates significantly. Q3. How is AI visibility tracking different from SEO? Ans: SEO tracks where your pages rank in search results. AI visibility tracking measures what AI says about your brand in direct answers. Users often never click through from AI responses, making visibility and accuracy equally critical since they may never see your website. Q4. Which AI visibility tracker is best for SaaS companies? Ans: Based on testing 10 platforms, LLMClicks delivers best ROI for SaaS because it validates accuracy (not just mentions), provides specific fixes, and tracks all major platforms for $49-149/month. For budget-conscious teams, Otterly at $29/month offers basic mention tracking without accuracy detection. Q5. Can Google Analytics track AI visibility? Ans: Google Analytics can track referral traffic from AI platforms, but it cannot measure AI mentions, competitive positioning, or whether AI describes your brand accurately. Dedicated AI visibility tracking tools are required for comprehensive insights. Q6. Do I need AI visibility tracking if I rank well on Google? Ans: Yes. During testing, I found brands ranking #1 on Google that were invisible in ChatGPT, and others with poor Google rankings dominating AI recommendations. AI visibility and SEO are separate channels requiring separate tracking tools.
