# ETHDenver 2024 Session Submission Form
--------------------------------------

ETHDenver 2024 Session Submission Form

## Introduction

ETHDenver brings together all kinds of different perspectives to realize the potential of distributed computing. Each year, we ask our global community to put forth your most thoughtful, insightful ideas to share on our journey toward decentralization.

We welcome submissions from innovative minds of all backgrounds who can speak first-hand about the promises and challenges of this emerging technology. Our mission is to curate a speaker lineup reflecting the creative diversity within the ETHDenver community.

Pro Tip: ETHDenver is a no shill zone. So lead with big ideas, interesting research, or educational content before promoting your own solution, project, or protocol. Definitely steer clear of shilling a token or any other opportunistic nonsense. :)

The Speaker Application has 6 steps-fill out each one fully before moving on to ensure no information gets lost. Refer to the FAQ for guidance.

Please submit complete proposals addressing details like target audience, key takeaways, and why your perspective is valuable before the deadline on January 14, 2024 at 11:59pm MST. A few pointers:

We love (if not prefer!) new faces. DO NOT BE SHY. Show us whatcha got!

Accepted speakers will be required to complete an ETHDenver attendance application if you haven't already in order to issue your ticket. Speakers who have a ticket through a sponsor organization will still have to complete an application for attendance.

Deadlines:

1\. Applications Open \- November 30, 2023 at 10:00AM

2\. Applications Close \- January 14, 2024 at 11:59PM

3\. Applications after January 15 will be automatically added to our Community Waitlist and we'll only respond to you if there is specific

interest in having you speak.

We are excited to see what you've got for us!

# Speaker Details
**Session Title + Description**

Give your idea a title, description, and add a takeaway that your session will answer, regarding the idea proposed. Please do not include a number in front of your answers or list additional speakers or their companies they work for.

**Session Title**
Turn a WASM based browser application into an ethereum rollup via ZKWASM (A ZK virtual machine that supports Web Assembly).

Pick something that lets your audience know exactly what your proposal will cover. Maximum of 60 characters (including spaces).

**Describe your idea**

Delphinuslab opensourced ZKWASM (https://github.com/DelphinusLab/zkWasm) on November 2022. With this ZKVM developpers can now generates ZK proofs for WASM applications (Presented in zk-proof 5th conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzT7zHUuvm4). Since WASM is a native supported bytecode for morden browsers, the ZKWASM VM provides a potential way to port rich browser web application onto Ethereum via ZK rollup. In Feb 2023 zksummit, a proof of concept demo runs a WASM game in browser and then generates and submits proofs of it to a Ethereum verifier contract (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLZbfTWLGNI). After putting a few more months of efforts since then, by supporting customizable ZKWASM host circuits, continuation and some of the WASI specification, we are more confident to say that connecting browser application with Ethereum is not only possible but also practical via existing ZK techniques.

**What is one key takeaway our audience should expect to learn from your session?**

1. WASM basics as the native bytecode for moden browsers.
2. How ZKWASM generates zk proofs of WASM application
3. What addons we needed to support WASM applications that runs in a morden browser.
4. Current performance and benchmarks for ZKWASM.
5. A reference demo of browser application that utlies ZKWASM.
