[Helix Markets](https://www.helixmarkets.io/) is a high-speed, low latency exchange with many novel features, architectural traits and trade-offs!

The exchange will make use of dfinity’s ICP blockchain (https://internetcomputer.org/), a trading engine that is running off-chain and a number of backend services that integrate these components.

This is a fully remote devops engineer position (with a primary focus on observability) in an early-stage startup.

This role is for you if you have some experience coding and wish to gain operational experience while improving your coding skills in Rust and C++.

# main responsibilities
- participate in incident response / on-call rotation
- review and actively add code where needed to ensure **observability** requirements are met
- assist developers
- troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to root cause analysis

# what you bring to the table
- bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3 years of commercial experience in similar position
- solid understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies
- some experience in coding with rust and/or C++
