## Ice breaking question
:::danger
**What's your first name, and on what project you are working with Julia?**
- Marcin Maździarz, Machine-learned interatomic potentials (MLIPs)
- Jukka Junttila: I have no previous experience with Julia and nothing ongoing either :)
- Matthias: I used Julia for no particular project until now just played a little bit around with it - I noticed that Python can be slow for some tasks and wanted to explore alternatives. My experience with julia is limited to easy competitive programming exercises.
- Arttu Raja-Halli: I have not used Julia before for any projects, but in the future would like to work on some geospatial data analysis projects
- Yasemin: I haven't worked with Julia in the past however I would like to use it for the data analysis / statistics steps of my current image analysis project in order to speed them up since I work with large 3D images with a lot of information content.
- Kristina: Nothing specific for now.
