# Math Word Problem: Related Works

## What is Math Word Problem (MWP)?
### Definition
給定數學題目，機器可以成功算出解答，並且給予具解釋性的計算過程

## Why this task?

1. MWP無法直接用簡單的keyword matching得到解答，需要讓機器理解和推理
2. MWP涉及到的domain knowledge相對較少（如和物理、化學等比較），研究者可以專注在自然語言的理解和推理部分
3. MWP的解答基本上從題目敘述即可知，較好驗證
4. 直接的應用可以輔助數學教學
