# Copywriting Guidelines & Naming Conventions

## Copywriting

### Capitalization
- Always capitalize abbreviations like ROI or token symbols like ETH.

## Naming

### yUSD
- Use yUSD instead of yyCRV but clarify when needed

### yTokens
- generic term for the wrapped tokens generated by yEarn protocols such as yUSD, yETH, yaLINK, etc

### ROI
- Use ROI instead of APY or APR

### Yearn Products
- the capitalization for yearn products is not settled though efforts are underway as part of a brand indentity process
- EG Yearn, yearn, or yEarn are currenly all acceptible, but here are the preferred standardizations for now:
- yEarn
- yVaults
- use yVault when referring to the product group
- better to just "Vault" when in context such as "yETH Vault"
- yInsure, ySwap, yLeverage, etc
