# FDP Index
* Index of the FDP universe of all FDPs outthere actively updating the FDP Index.
* The FDP index is a special FDP instance? or does everything that talks to an FDP offer its indexes to be copied?

# Virtual Platform/Point
* The virtual platform is a conceptual environment that aggregate FDPs (and FDP Indexes) that allows users to query the underlying/available FAIR data.
* Keep local copies of all indexes and that way federate over it.

# Possible Architecture
* metdata describing data source submitted to FDP-client
* FDP-client formats and relays to FDP
* FDP notifies an FDP Index that the metadata is available
* FDP Index hoovers up the metadata.
* n Virtual Platforms use the FDP Index to federate queries etc.
