# Glossary

## Account

An account in the Operator system that contains a set of information about the User for identification in the system. The account may contain personal and additional profile data of the user that are mandatory or optional.

## API

**Application Programming Interface** is a set of definitions, subprograms, interaction protocols and software development tools provided by the Operator for simplified integration. In other words, this is a set of well-defined methods for interaction of various components.

## Checkout (Payment Page)

**Payment Page** is a personalized Partner page for payment acceptance. The link to this page is generated by the Operator. Checkout is designed for easy, quick and secure method for payment acceptance from clients on Partner website. Using payment page, client's card details are transferred completely secure and do not stay on the Partner site or server.

## Cipher

An Operator's service, installed on the Partner server, that implements the function of data cryptography for interaction with the Operator system.

## Client

Any natural person who has access to the Partner website and its resources via the Internet.

## Data Packet

A Partner request, presented as a [JSON structure](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JSON) and formed from 4 encrypted attributes: "Partner", "Data", "KeyAES" and "Sign" ([attributes description](https://hackmd.io/ijxPm0xtTpycgTjuU_NHQQ)).

## Onboarding

A process of Partner verification in the Operator system, during which an online questionnaire information about the Partner is filled and documents are provided for identification and opening a bank account.

## Operator

**XPAY (LLC "XPAY GROUP")** is a company that provides a set of procedures and rules, as well as technical infrastructure for servicing Partner operations in the system.

## Partner

An individual entrepreneur or business entity that has passed the onboarding procedure and uses the Operator's system for financial transactions.

## Partner Private Key

A secret cryptographic code created using encryption algorithms, which is generated in a pair with a public key on the Partner's side for signing a data packet.

## Partner Public Key

An open cryptographic code created using encryption algorithms, generated on the Partner's side and transmitted to the Operator for signature verification and Partner identification.

## PCI DSS

**Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard** is an information security standard developed by international payment systems Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover. The standard is a detailed set of requirements for ensuring the security of payment cardholder data that is transmitted, stored and processed in the information infrastructures of organizations. Application of appropriate measures to ensure compliance with the requirements of the standard involves a comprehensive approach to ensuring information security of payment card data.

## Server-Server Card Payment

An acceptance of card payment from the client on the Partner website without the client following to the Operator payment page. The client enters the card details directly on the Partner page.

## Token

**Partner Token** is an identification standard used by the Operator to identify a Partner in the system and provides for the issuance of a unique identifier. This identifier has the form of a string formed from a unique set of numbers and Latin letters separated by the symbol "-". For example, `72a8ddb8-9145-4a41-af1a-8c48ecaa4be1`.

## User

Any natural person who has access to the Operator website and its resources via the Internet. *Registered user* - a natural person who has completed registration and created an account.

## XPAY Public Key

An open cryptographic code of the XPAY system, created using encryption algorithms, generated by the Operator and transmitted to the Partner for data encryption when interacting with the system.

## XPAY Wallet

A payment tool used to manage and account the Partner operations in the Operator system.
