reframing the IOG funding - not community driving. REconceptualizing.

how do we engage with it?
- repost proposals that we want to do / be involved
- over extend with proposal writing -
- aggreate proposals - the format of proposal that facilitates the proposal process.
- all the communites we do proposal for - "This is a group. This is what we do. Here is the project lead and we do"

Publizing - "trading votes" - Shilling projects?
the ideafest is an indicator of NOT getting funded
"Doing the milestone reviewing has shown me (Vani) a lot - people get funded so much without publicising at all, and by writing THE most minimal and vague proposals"

DREPs in fund11?
not in Fund11, prolly not in catalyst.
Intersect will prolly be there - for Cardano dREPs

Catalyst community is gone. Best to reframe to the reality. The expections vs the reality. The pitfall is over-committing.

The tension we feel. Perhaps a Catalyst Improvement proposal.

This is part of what CGO wanted to do in F8 and 9 - open the black box and have some sort of open process and criteria for how IOG works with community suggestions.

But now I see it as summat that won't happen - meeting with IOG is more for fun :-)

Thinking beyond IOG controlled Catalyst.. the downward blips on this chart are the impact on the Cardano Treasury growth of Catalyst payouts. There is a huge potential for parallel innovation funds once the parameter control has been handed over to Intersect/Community.
