# ODIN Domain Mapping Proposal

## Driver for Proposal
ODIN has been engaging in the Driver Mapping process for a few months and still lacks alignment on what domains should be created. This is slowing down the start of projects and is causing tension for people wanting to engage but are unsure how. We need to come to an agreement of what domains to start and populate them with interested contributors so we can start to deliver tangible value. This will empower self-organization and agency for members to contribute and participate meaningfully.

## Proposal Description
Based on the Driver Mapping results to date, it is proposed that we consent to the following initial domains for ODIN:

### Onboarding: Outreach/Advocacy/Community Domain
To advocate for principles of evolutionary collaboration and governance, to create awareness of ODIN and its activities and offerings, to create open and welcoming spaces where people can come and learn about ODIN and how to engage.

### Education: Learning/Teaching/Experimenting/Exploring Domain
To take people from interested parties and transform them into active contributors, to create a space for learning and teaching through project-based learning, to encourage and engage in experimentation and exploring new ideas and patterns.

### Build Domain: Innovate/Build/Create Domain
To take the learnings of ODIN and build tools and systems that will help other domains and organizations and groups to use the best patterns and principles. To manifest our learning as useful and supportive software that is available for all to use.

### Growth Domain: Mentor/Coach/Leadership Domain

Theme: Business/Org Growth Focus. To mentor and coach, hold workshops, and help groups and organizations in the network to grow and mature, leveraging the wisdom and knowledge of the network.

### Sustainability: Fundraising/Grant/Incentivizing Domain
To find ways of making the activities of ODIN sustainable over time. Seeking grant funding for network initatives, managing milestone reporting, enabling new opportunities for members in different ecosystems.

### Governance Domain: Facilitate, Administrate, Record Keeping Domain
To help ODIN govern itself and to maintain tools, infrastucture and resources shared by the network. Champion the use of S3 in domains, and provide facilitation services. Maintain records and logbooks of decisions, and ensure transparency and clarity across circles.

## Evaluation Process and Criteria
- Each circle decide on how to name their domain
- Each circle look at the Delegation Canvas and do at least 1 and 2 (Primary Driver and Key Responsibilities)
- Bring 1 and 2 back to the ODIN Circle and get consent on primary driver and key responsibilities
- Based on the above, create at least one project to start to address the driver and responsibilities
- Revisit this proposal in 3 months to see if it needs tuning

## Concerns
- Communication and linking between circles
- Some circles have fewer cards in them
