# uNouns Auction Settlement Fund

**tl:dr** create a fund to settle auctions

**why**
uNouns.wtf has not been generating sales every day, due to auctions not being settled for days on end.

Thus, by not covering the cost of settling the auctions, we are losing income on those days.

Since the cost of covering the settlement is less than the price of a UNoun, it makes sense to initiate a fund for this.

**The Solution**
Create a wallet that the uNounders & designees can use to settle auctions promptly. These settlements will be limited to 0.02eth each. If gas prices are higher than that, the parties will check back in an hour or so and repeat until gas is reasonable.

Should the average token price reach below 0.04eth, the UNouns community will discuss changes to the limits and put in a prop to replace this one.

Upon execution of this proposal, the UNounders will be granted permission to occasionally refill this wallet from the DAO treasury without further proposal. However, of course, the members of the DAO can propose any change to or cancellation of this proposal.

**The Budget**
0.2eth, to be sent to the wallet to get things started. That will cover 10-20 days.
