# EG.8 -- Infrastructure Scope
### Article 1: The Infrastructure Scope
This Scope Framework covers how Maker hosts infrastructure and provide infrastructure technical support and critical technical support
### Article 2: The Infrastructure Tribunal
The Infrastructure Tribunal is responsible for proposing quarterly updates of the Infrastructure Scope Framework
### Article 3: The Infrastructure Tribunal' Function
The Infrastructure Tribunal is responsible for carrying out actions specified in the Infrastructure Scope Framework with budget provided by the Infrastructure Scope Framework. Transparency and reports must be provided on the forum based on best practice when work is done and budget is spent.
### Article 4: Keepers
#### Section 4.1
The Infrastructure Tribunal must develop and maintain open source code bases for each of the keepers that Maker needs.
#### Section 4.2
The Infrastructure Tribunal must operate a backup instance of each of the keepers that Maker needs

Addition of each new collateral type touches various systems that need to be reconfigured to accept said collateral. Systems such as Oracle Feeds and Relayers, monitoring, dashboards, keepers, changelog and spell whitelisting.
Note: A different MIP will be put forward to the community to transfer the ownership of the current Oracle Feed and Relayers from the Maker Foundation to TECH-001.
