# 鏈結資料文獻翻譯賽德克語成果發表會 Exploring Seediq: A Journey through Translation and Linked Data Documentation

## 活動簡介

只有通過連結才能讓知識展現其真正的價值，社群也是如此。
來自不同背景的人們，因同樣的目標聚在一起，交流激盪，發現全新的可能性。

2025 年臺灣維基數據社群發起新一輪的鏈結資料(Linked Data)翻譯專案，希望為臺灣社群建置更多相關的華語文獻，作為領域發展的基礎。同時，社群也在思考是否能夠將在地化的工作不僅限於華語而擴及到臺灣的本土語言，便與長年合作的 Se-cyun Wikipidiya Seejiq 賽德克族維基百科社群攜手進行賽德克語版本的文獻翻譯工作，將臺灣社群的在地化工作模式往新的領域持續推進。

藉由 Wikidata 十三週年的難得機會，我們齊聚一堂，慶祝一個重要的里程碑：通過賽德克三個語群(Seejiq Truku、Sediq Toda、Seediq Tgdaya)攜手合作，將外文的研究文件翻譯為我們的語言，讓族人能夠自在地閱讀、交流與吸收。這或許只是前方漫漫長路上的一小步，但它象徵著我們所能達到的成就與決心。

本次活動邀請了賽德克族三語群代表將以華語、族語混和的方式向我們介紹文獻翻譯的心得以及翻譯的策略，同時社群華語譯者也將會在活動最後以華語分享鏈結資料概念以及未來社群能夠如何應用鏈結資料在族語社群的發展，歡迎各社群夥伴可以與我們一起共襄盛舉。

Connectivity reveals the true value of knowledge, and the same is true for community. When people from different backgrounds gather under a shared goal, they create new potentials that can change the world.

In 2025, Wikidata Taiwan launched a new wave of Linked Data projects, aiming to build a stronger foundation for future development. With localization as our main focus, we reached out to our long-term partners from the Se-cyun Wikipidiya Seejiq community to join us and take our localization efforts to a new level.

As Wikidata’s 13th Birthday approaches, we take this opportunity to celebrate a special milestone: the joint efforts of three Seediq communities in translating a foreign document into our own language for our people to read and share. Though this may seem like a small step compared to the long journey ahead, it is an important proof of our will and commitment as a community.

At this event, the three Seediq communities will share with us their experiences and learning from the translation. Finally, the project’s lead translator will reflect on their own journey. We sincerely invite all our partners to join us in celebrating this milestone and enjoying a wonderful afternoon together.
