# User feedback
## Prototyping stage consultation
### Target audience
We spent about half an hour with a potential user to show him our following Figma prototype and collect some useful remarks and suggestions for improvements.
### User remarks
- addition of game rules and a login button directly on the landing page for easier access,
- "Go to Wikipedia" button should be more visually distinct and user-friendly.
- see statistics on which themes (e.g., sports, music, history, sciences) they perform best at.
- ability to add friends and compare scores within their friend group, in addition to the global leaderboard.
### Improvements based on feedback:
- Add a rules section and a login button to the landing page for improved accessibility.

- Redesign the "Go to Wikipedia" button to make it more prominent and user-friendly and rename it "Learn more".

We could have implemented the 'add friends' feature and statistics per theme, but it wasn't initially planned. However, they could be really good ideas for a future version of our application.
## Formative evaluation stage consultation
### Target audience
Same target audience as the prototyping stage.
### User remarks
- It would be nice to access the leaderboard from all pages of the website.
- If I have no clue who it is, I have to make a random guess to get a new hint.
- When a new part is unblurred, it's not obvious where it is.
- Once I've completed the daily challenge, I am redirected to the landing page. What if I want to keep playing?
### Improvements based on feedback:
- Add a leaderboard button to the header of the website to allow access from any page.

- Add a "+" button next to the search bar to let users request a hint without making a guess.

- Add an animation when a hint is revealed to highlight its location on the page.
- Redirect to solo mode once the daily challenge is completed, encouraging the user to play again.
