## 🤴 Royal Prince VIP #### Design: Very lootable, cannot really powergame and validhunt with his own loot in an especially powerful way, but can reasonably defend himself with it. The gear is designed to be interesting and alluring, yet not meta or op for crewmen or traitors. Objective to keep his own loot until roundend. - 👑 Crown: Can psychically sway basic and simple mobs to his side, temporarily? if hostile. Cool beam effect. Chance to deflect lasers aimed at the head (very shiny), *maybe* mini voice of god? - 🧤 Gauntlets: Fancy gauntlets that grant Fencing alongside being insulated. Chunky. - 🤺 Fencing: Buffs block chances with swords. Three buttons for three stances: Defensive slows you but increases block further, Offensive speeds you and attack speed up but removes block chances, Thrusting allows for two-tile attacks. - 🛡️ Has slightly altered chaplain crusader armor. Minor slowdown, but hardy. - 🥋 Uniform: Fancy royal uniform that contains two internal pockets. - 🗡️ Reskinned captain sabre. The real sabre has its description changed to imply it being either given by or stolen from a visiting nobleman. - 🥾 Sabatons: Magboots that when active also protect from baton knockdown. They have little slowdown but also slow you down even if inactive. #### All clothing resists any damage, though it does not make the wearer xproof. #### Abilities: - ⚔️ Knight Servant: Knights any willing mob, which adds Knight to their name and gives them minor combat buffs and airdropped gear (buckler, claymore, plate armor) at the cost of a massive mood penalty if away from their liege. Five minute cooldown, needs the royal's sabre. - 🧑‍🌾 Summon Serf: Can if willing summon a loyal ghost-role servant. They have large backpacks, but due to lifelong malnutrition are slow (as slow as the royal) and have little health or combat abilities. Can't be Knighted. - 🥂 Possibly other things relating to royalty, such as royal grants. #### Access: - 🪪 Bridge. *maybe* base departments? Otherwise, nothing else though. ## 🧑‍⚕️ Nanotrasen Test Subject Superweapon #### Design: Entertainer, believe it or not. Provide spice to the crew and the round by having fun gimmick abilities and have them limited by interesting drawbacks. Freak people out with your grotesque metamorphosis, shock them with the veritable diversity that is alarming, yet *non-deadly and small*, of disgusting gases it spreads. Provide an alluring, weak, yet dangerous target to the enemies of Nanotrasen. - 🦠Every 12 ± 5 minutes, the superweapon will encase himself in a grotesque chrysalis, spewing noxious fumes *(A random mix of gases depending on the mutation type. If you're an atmos tech, this might be a fun way to try and siphon some free exotic gases.)* and upon pupating gain another set of abilities, this process repeats 3 times. - 🌡️ All superweapons are frail, have a bad back, chunky fingers, cough, and have 75 maximum health. - :wind_blowing_face: Has a safety whistle they can blow on to give security, engineering, or medbay an alert. ### 🧬 Strands! Each superweapon at round start is one of these at random. #### 🤹 Psionic - Starting quirks: Self-aware 🧠 , Signer 👉 - Starting mutations: None - Starting traumas: Quantum Alignment 🧪 (Teleports things to you/you to things randomly rarely) - 🌪️Noxious fume types: Hypernoblium, Tritium, Antinoblium, Bz, Pluoxium, miasma, all room temperature. - 👽 T1: Glow purple, gain an antenna! Become mute. - 🤹 T2: Bluespace prophet trauma, telepathy, telekinesis! - 🕴️ T3: LASER EYES! But they're very weak and don't deal much damage. Also, you have the two mutations that make you randomly shuffle into nullspace. And the trauma too. But hey, you're probably unkillable by default now. #### ⛄ Cryonic - Starting quirks: Glass Jaw 🔍 , Depression 😭 - Starting mutations: Geladikinesis 🏔️ , Canadian 🇨🇦 - Starting traumas: None - 🌨️ Noxious fume types: Freon, Nitrogen, Water Vapor, Hypernoblium, Halon, Miasma, all at 0 celsius. - T1: Glow blue, cold resistance. :snow_cloud: - T2: Cryokinesis! 🧊 Gain an awful, unintelligible christmas/frost pun accent. 🥶 - T3: Get over your depression and become festively jolly! 🎅 Gain thermal vision! 👁️ ##### Also possibly become a snow golem. Not sure since I'd have to re-add them as an unique snowman race because Jac unjustly removed them while I was coding and conceptualizing this. #### Access: - 🪪 Main science, main medbay. Maybe genetics. ### I would GLADLY bloat this further and slap on a retardedly high amount of VIP roles but scope creep is a thing and I have to call it quits at some point, at least on this PR. My ideas are/were: - 🕴️SEO Government Inspector: Basic access to all departments and bridge. Can fine people and departmental budgets for up to 3 paychecks' worth per individual every 20 minutes for not following OSHA standards. Has a LOT of money on his bank account. May or may not just try to fine people to get richer. May or may not get killed by a public mob. Can summon one poorly-armed bodyguard. - 🕯️Occultist: Darkest Dungeon Occultist! Sell spooky and useless wares to the crew, such as becoming a skeleton. Can cast a tentacle arm spell, on disarm it slaps people, on harm it throws them away from him, otherwise towards him. - 🔫 Donk Co. Salesman: Sells foam gun wares! Includes all gun types, foam types, and some unique of both as well. Ambassador from the Syndicate, can help traitors indirectly but will likely be their objective due to inter-syndicate politics. - 🪖 Shore Leave TerraGov Marine Squad: A bunch of retired terragov marines are taking a vacation on the station! The SL has a 1911 with rubber bullets, the rest have weakened combat knives, but they all have a huge phobia of xenomorphs and may have various forms of crippling wounds. - 👷‍♂️ Union Rep: Ensure the workers' rights are being upheld. Piss off security and command and get them to execute you within 15 minutes. Somewhat increased chance of being a head revolutionary if dynamic rolls it. - 🦎 🥇: Goldenscale Lizard Experiment: Another NT test subject, goldenscale lizards leave gold scale droppings around every so often. Concept from Time-Green! :tomato: - 🦎 🥈: Silverscale Representative: Similar to Royal Princes, but (meant to be) a lot more arrogant and rude. All VIPs can be antagonists. Traitor, cultist, changeling, heretic. Maybe they could get some job specific syndicate items as well. Neutral station trait. Each VIP is a separate trait, allowing for multiples. VIPs have a higher chance to be the objective of antagonists, and secondary traitor objectives give lots of TC and have unique types based on vip
