  • Title of talk: Simplifying Wallet-initiated Connections to Dapps: A User-Centric Exploration Workshop Convener(s) of talk: Jean Regisser (@jeanregisser) Scribe(s) of talk: Tanya (Safe) Slides: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/156WKnzDIyMNvzVR4ADvaMJSgetMUNxpSPR9y4QA9FJs/edit?usp=sharing Abstract Ever opened a dapp directly from your wallet, and struggled to connect as you were confronted with a laundry list of wallet choices? When it’s crystal clear which wallet is being used. It's a real buzzkill, and it's causing a whopping 70% drop-off rate. We're all about simplifying the process, aiming for one-click (or even zero-click) connections. Join us in this workshop as we explore solutions to this and garner support for drafting an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) to make dapp connections a breeze. Inspired by EIP-6963, but not confined to injected providers. Notes User starts a journey in a dapp browser, they click on e.g. Uniswap and their page might look confusing because they need to connect again, they open the connection modal, click on WalletConnect — see another WC connection popup, and they search for the wallet they started a journey in.

  • Title of talk: Designing Iron Wallet - a Developer-centric Wallet Design Convener(s) of talk: Filipa Ribeiro + José Resende Notes While developing smart contracts, all the steps from resetting a nonce to configuring transaction parameters every time you are testing your code, stack up quickly. All while needing access to debugging features that aren't meant for end users. In the end, it amounts to a lot of frustration and time. We talked about Iron Wallet and how it intends to improve the developer experience. We also taked about pain points developers face while developing smart contracts and while interacting with dapps. • Title of talk: Fostering Inclusive Web3 Wallet Design Convener(s) of talk: Aaliyah Pierre Scribe(s) of talk: depatchedmode Links to any presentation matter: Tips: Notes Inclusion, adoption and innovation are very closely related: they all support each other. Localization and translation are very critical, and under-served. Only 18% of the world speaks any English at all. Ways of aiding in the understanding of key web3 concepts might vary greatly between different communities and cultures: eg. anecdote about a person explaining the blockchain to their parent using the Quran.
