# Overview
For all things housing related. It’s up for discussion and refinement. We want to best ensure that all roommates feel happy, informed, and on the same page for as many aspects as possible. Of course, mistakes are inevitable and totally fine. When they do arise, I would hope it is in all of our best interests to be understanding and compassionate of one another, address it appropriately, and most importantly, respectfully. It is a learning experience and no one is expected to be flawless, nor is that even possible.
(This can potentially serve as a document to share with future roommates, for the sake of brevity?)

## Housing Option #1: 8 People House
may 25th to August 10th it will cost $9438 in total, it will have a $3853 initial deposit that is fully refundable until April 24th. The house has a two car garage and a driveway that looks like it could hold four more cars while still allowing access to the garage. For ev charging I would probably bring a trickle charger and plug into a normal outlet in the garage and there is a supercharger right next to the office for any extra charging. We definitely do not want any drugs in the house and I think any damage should be covered by the person who did it.
The $9438 figure includes all fees.
# Roommates - Let's get real
## FAQs
- But what if IIiIiIiii want the cool room? :(
- Settled via "bid wars"
- 1) The rest of the roommates say "OK"
- 2) "I'll pay $100 for the king size bed room"
- Counter offers: "Oh yeah? Well, I'll pay $101 for the king size bed room!"
- 3) No counter offers, but the rest of the roommates collectively want so-n-so to cough up more dough for the goods.
## Damages

- I get very exhausted in the nights since I wake early (quiet, grouchy maybe?)
- Can't eat cheese (can eat pizza cheese though), butter, lactose-intolerant
- If I let you borrow my stuff, please always put it back in its position
- If I'm being offensive, it's most likely me being playful, tired, or unaware of it. I really appreciate folks that can just tell me early and directly instead of jumping to negative conclusions.
- I really don't like to get involved in drama. Brain will shut off.
# Ground Rules
- No smoking or drugs
- No bringing friends over (Stay within Airbnb guest count limitation)
- Clean dishes within 24 hours
- Make sure the doors are all closed and locked (Don't want any rats coming in, burglary)
- Quiet hours: 12AM - 7AM
- Thermostat temperature range: 70-72 degrees
- No stealing food
- Don't touch others belongings without permission
- Dining table is not any particular individual's "office space". It is a shared commodity for people to come relax. Please don't be territorial (hogging things up excessively).
- Keep the kitchen countertops clear. That way, individuals who wish to cook have the space necessary to do so.
- Restroom time limits? Please don't spend hours in there, infinite scrolling. (I may get constipated waiting.)
- Turn the vents on while cooking, open the windows (Don't stink up the house)
- Remember to shut off the water (Don't want to flood the house)
- No leaving bathroom floor wet
## Extra Precautions - Please be mindful :)
- Sink clog
- Pasta, hair
- Pebbles (will destroy trash disposal shredder)
- Microwave
- Dont microwave potato (explosion, house alarm)
- Food
- Seal (Don't want ants)
- Be careful not to splatter food onto ceiling
- Hanging things on walls (peeling walls with tape)
