# App installation for testing guide

### How to get a build?

To get a new app build for testing, send an email to Anton Labenskiy [e-mail] or contact him on slack.

You will receive an invitation with a complete guide on how to join to app distribution. Registration steps may differ depending on the platform you use.

# **Android**

**Step 1:**  Once you tap on it to get started, the app will ask you to accept the invitation.

**Step 2:** The firebase app distribution will be opened in the browser, where you have to enable the required permissions to test the build.


**Step 3:** Next, you can tap a *download* button and *download anyway* on a popup to start the app build downloading.



**Step 4:** Open the downloaded file and tap *install* and *install anyway* on a popup.



**Step 5:** Once the app is installed, open it.


# **iOS**

**Step 1:**  Once you tap on to get started, you will be asked to accept the firebase terms.



**Step 2:** For iOS, testers have to register their device by downloading a firebase profile.



**Step 3:** Allow the download and close the popup.


**Step 4:** After the profile download, it will appear in the settings. Install that firebase profile on your device. Enter the device passcode for verification.






**Step 5.** The installed profile will appear under Settings/VPN & Device Management. Tap on it and confirm the finish of the profile installation in a browser.


> 💡 Now, you can download and install the application.
There could be several builds available for installation. Choose the one with the last version number.




> 💡 You might also install the AppDistribution application on your device to quickly access updates. Just tap “Install” on an appeared banner at the bottom of the registration page.
