# Hammer Skill Tree Overhaul ###### tags: `combat` ## Playstyle: - Crowd control - Enemy re-positioning - Debuffs to enemies ### Niche: - Support and area control focused ### Primary Ability: - Standard bonk ### Secondary Ability: - Charging knockback, low poise ### Skilltree groupings - Strikes (single-target) - Side swipe, sideways displacement - Contextual on movement direction, side movement direction determines knockback direction - Uppercut, upwards displacement - Heavy poise attack - Self buff, heavy swings, lower attack speed increase poise/damage - Strike that inflicts slow on poised enemy - Debuff strike, enemy vulnerable to poise - Staggering strike (causes target's movement direction to be rotated) - Rooting strike - Winding strike, lower max energy/energy reward of target, or alternatively crit chance, or alternatively silence (target cannot use abilities other than M1/M2) - Potentially take chunks and make ability out of each - Self buff damage/poise reduction and debuff movement speed - Ground (area) - Simple damage shockwave - Knocks up enemies in area - Knocks back enemies in area - Knocks enemies towards in area - Staggers enemies in area with poise - Slows enemies in area - Directional rock spray - Directional shockwave that knocks up target towards - Staggering ground slam (rotates movement direction of targets slightly) - Rooting ground slam - Fortification, buffs poise res of nearby allies ### Misc - For strikes and ground slams that have similar effects, the single target should be more potent with a longer duration - Fix poise interaction with knockback - Entity-entity collision causing damage
