This is intended to be a recurring and evolving multi-divisional event and will require Transport, Ground Security and Space Security elements. The goal is to learn and practice dropping troops and vehicles into contested areas. We will start in Crusader (spawn set to grim hex) and hit Whistler's Crypt, and other Derelict outposts (as dictated by package missions). Then we will go take control of Ghost Hollow.
# Divisions
## Transport
You will bring your Valkyrie, Cutlass Steel, or Vanguard Hoplite. We will practice dropping and extracting troops and ground vehicles into/from active hot zones.
## Ground Security
You will kit up and be a proper marine. You will be dropped into an active hot zone with a goal to achieve. You will achieve that goal. You will then be extracted with your gear and vehicles by Transport.
## Space Security
Bring your fighter and prepare to open a hole in the sky so transport can "safely" ride in and drop/extract troops. Protect the drop ships at all costs. Keep the skies safe.
# Venue
1. Derelict Package Missions: here we can practice timing and teamwork. The goal will be to drop into the center of the compound, kill the npcs, recover the package(s), loot the place of valuables and extract.
2. Ghost Hollow: we will drop and secure the place, pull money from the terminals for a set amount of time, extract and evac.
# Money
Everyone likes money, however, there will likely not be much of it. Whatever is earned through looting and mission payouts will be shared out equally. The goal of this session is to practice as teams and learn how to do this effectively.
# Equipment
The Corporation has every ship and ground vehicle necessary for this endeavor. You will be expected to provide your own personal kits. If you cannot afford to buy the necessary items, many of us will be able to help. But be prepared ahead of time, have your kits laid out and ready. See [Being Prepared](https://hackmd.io/9E9QhKlaSxqB6AC4xhBMZA) for my views on this subject.
# Scaling
We can do this with as few as 1 dropship and a couple of marines, but the more people we have, the more successful we will be.
# Comms
This will start as a casual event, with a goal of practicing for regular/hardcore. Come prepared for your role and be on site, on time. Keep the chatter to a minimum and do your job. We will follow the Cintara Approved Standard Corporation Comms protocol. Depending on turnout, we may need to break into multiple discord channels, with assigned people passing messages and requests to the appropriate teams.
