# Kickoff Format

* Playoffs:
- Triple-Elimination bracket
- All matches (excl. UB Final, MB Final & LB Final) are Bo3
- UB Final, MB Final & LB Final are Bo5
- Teams that qualified to Champions Paris receive a bye into round 2 of the Upper Bracket
- Skirmish Side Selection:
- Before the start of a match, each team submits a starting player to represent the team
- The two players face off in a 1v1 in the in-game Skirmish game mode
- Abilities are disabled, only guns can be used
- First player to reach five rounds wins the Skirmish and grants their team the first choice in the Map Veto
- This method may also be used to determine seeding
