**Project Description:**
Welcome to the "Unleashing Creativity Online" project, a dynamic and hands-on creativity class where you will embark on a journey to create their own personalized and inspiring website. This comprehensive web development project will not only enhance technical skills but also serve as a canvas for self-expression and creative exploration.

## Project Components:

1. **Home Page Overview:**
The home page of your personal website serves as the digital front door, offering visitors a compelling introduction to your creative world. Here's what you should include:
- Welcome Statement: Start with a warm and inviting welcome statement. Use concise and engaging language to set the tone for your website and make visitors feel like they've entered a creative space.
- Striking Visuals: Incorporate visually captivating elements that represent your creative style. This could be a dynamic background image, an artistic slideshow, or any visual content that reflects the essence of your work.
- Navigation Menu: Implement a clear and user-friendly navigation menu. Include easily accessible links to key sections such as Portfolio, Podcast, About Me, Reflection, and Contact. The menu should facilitate seamless exploration of your site.
- Featured Work: Showcase a selection of your best and most representative creative works directly on the home page. This could be a curated gallery of images, a slider, or any format that provides a quick glimpse into the range and quality of your creations.
- Podcast Highlights: Feature highlights or recent episodes on the home page. Include visually appealing podcast cover art, episode titles, and brief descriptions to entice visitors to explore your podcast further.
- Call-to-Action (CTA): Encourage visitor engagement with a clear call-to-action. This could be a button leading to your portfolio, an invitation to explore your about me, or an encouragement to subscribe to your podcast. Guide visitors toward taking the next step on your website.
- Social Media Integration: Include icons or feeds linking to your social media profiles. This establishes connectivity and encourages visitors to follow your creative journey on other platforms.
Remember, the home page is the digital handshake that welcomes visitors to your creative world. Strive for a balance between visual appeal and functionality, guiding visitors to explore the different facets of your creativity with ease.

2. **Portfolio Showcase:**
You will design a captivating portfolio page that serves as a digital gallery to showcase your creative works. This section will feature a visually engaging display of projects, artworks, and any other creative endeavors we have completed in this course. Emphasis will be placed on layout, aesthetics, and user experience, allowing participants to express their unique creative style. Include work produced in our past assignments or done in class. Additionally create 3 new works. These can be songs in GarageBand, images created in Sketches School, videos created in Clips or textual output created in Pages (export as PDF).

3. **Podcast Page:**
In this section, include your podcast logo, description, and embed all your episodes.

4. **About Me Section:**
Crafting a compelling narrative is crucial in the digital realm. Participants will develop a captivating "About Me" page that goes beyond a traditional biography. This page will incorporate multimedia elements, such as images and videos, to convey their personality, passion, and journey as a creative individual. On this page include your introduction video (do not include in portfolio). Also include written portions about yourself and a link to your PDF resume (or a resume page).

5. **Learning Reflection:**
A space for reflection and ongoing creative exploration, share your thoughts, experiences, and creative process. Share about your journey in this course; what you learnt; what you found most interesting/fun; where you struggled; etc.

6. **Contact and Social Links:**
Ensuring connectivity, participants will incorporate a user-friendly contact page with a form for inquiries and feedback. Additionally, the integration of social media links will facilitate networking and community building.

## Project Submission Criteria

To ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the "Unleashing Creativity Online" project, you are required to submit the following elements:

1. **Personal Website URL:**
- Provide the live URL of your personal website. Ensure that it is accessible to the evaluators for navigation and exploration.

2. **Storyboard Documentation:**
- Submit a detailed storyboard that outlines the design and functionality of your personal website. The storyboard should include:
- Wireframes or sketches illustrating the layout of each page (Home, Portfolio, Podcast, About Me, Reflection, Contact).
- Annotations explaining the purpose and functionality of key elements on each page.
- A user journey map depicting how a visitor might navigate through your website.

3. **Code Repository on GitHub:**
- Code uploaded into the GitHub repository.
- Ensure that the repository is well-organized with clear directories for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and any other relevant files.
- Include a README.md file that provides instructions on how to set up and run the project locally, including any dependencies.

4. **Commit History:**
- Demonstrate a clear commit history in your GitHub repository. Each commit should have a meaningful message, outlining the changes made at that stage of development.

5. **Code Quality:**

- Demonstrate the integration of your podcast on the designated page. Include playable episodes, show notes, and any additional multimedia elements.

8. **About Me Page:**
- Provide a comprehensive About Me page that goes beyond a traditional biography. Include multimedia elements such as images or videos to convey your personality and creative journey.

9. **Reflection:**
- Present a reflection page with one well-crafted post (minimum 500 words). Demonstrate your ability to convey thoughts and experiences through written content.

10. **Contact Page:**
- Ensure that the Contact page includes a user-friendly form for inquiries and feedback. Test the functionality to guarantee that the form submission process is smooth.

11. **Social Media Integration:**
- Confirm that social media icons or feeds are integrated and functional, allowing visitors to connect with you on other platforms.

12. **Creativity and Aesthetics:**
- Emphasize the visual appeal of your website. Ensure that the design elements align with your creative style and contribute to an immersive user experience. The website must be responsive.

**Evaluation Process:**
Projects will be evaluated based on the completeness of the website, adherence to submission criteria, creativity, functionality, and overall user experience. The storyboard and code will be reviewed to assess the thoughtfulness and technical proficiency demonstrated throughout the development process (see rubric above).
