# Doc's Top 3 - DRAFT This living document describes my top 3 priorities as The GraphQL Technical Lead **1. Go Deep on GraphQL Knowledge (60%)** OBJECTIVE: Generate a level of expertise that enables sharing and advising on GraphQL topics **2. Share GraphQL Knowledge (15%)** OBJECTIVE: Create artifacts and content to establish thought leadership **3. Continue to be Active in the Rust project (25%)** OBJECTIVE: Continue to support my strengths and cross pollinate skills across OSS projects The percentages given will change over time with a shift from majority of time focused on going deep to acquire knowledge to more equal time between 1. and 2. # In Practice Q2 2022 - I will spend 60% of my time working with Postman Labs, Support and Sales orgainzations along with consuming a significant amount of content and artifacts to strengthen my grasp of GraphQL and it's implementation. - Build internal cross functional relationships and knowledge - Membership in GraphQL WG - Consume lots of content - A lesser amount of my time at 15% will be spent delivering content as I ramp up in the new role. - Produce Content - Develop ecosystem maps and explainers - Advise internally on GraphQL features and constraints - Deliver talks on GraphQL related topics - And finally, I will continue to allocate 25% of my work weeks to active participation on the Rust Programming Language as we previously agreed. - Co-lead of Rustc Reading Club (leading the RFC process for Phase II) - Maintainer of Optipodi - a crate that generates actionable metrics - Become a contributor to the Rust compiler This document serves as an overview of what I'm focused on right now and what you can expect of me in my role. I will not be able to actively prioritize projects or requests outside of these three pritorities.
