# Guide to Threat Advisories

Nanotrasen's spread into the abyss means that several yet-to-be-discovered threats intend on stopping them and now have a chance to do so. As such, the Nanotrasen Intelligence Agency has adopted a new threat advisory system. This guide samples the threat level messages sent to vessels on a routine basis on a daily basis or when the alert level changes. Other factions allied to Nanotrasen have adopted similar systems.

## Threat Advisories - Nanotrasen

### Green Star
The vessel is in secure Nanotrasen territory or no threats are currently credibly able to mount an offensive. Remain wary.

### Blue Star
There is a minor threat to Nanotrasen operations in the sector. Remain on guard and keep security forces standby - pirates and other minor threats are to be expected.

### Yellow Star
Enemy forces are nearby but do not seem to be mounting any major offensives. All security forces are to be on standby.

### Orange Star
Jump traces indicating the presence of an extremely large enemy fleet within two to three sectors have been identified. As such, expect enemy patrols or other hostile forces. Do not allow any sensitive Nanotrasen documents to fall into any enemy hands.

### Red Star
An extremely large enemy fleet is in or extremely close to your system. Take all necessary measures to defend Nanotrasen assets. The Death Squad may be scrambled if you are attacked.

### Midnight Sun
***WARNING***
Intercepted communications have confirmed that an enemy force is preparing to mount a major offensive against Nanotrasen assets in or around your sector. The Death Squad is standing by for rapid deployment. Defend yourselves by all means necessary. Your vessel's emergency armoury has automatically been unlocked.

### Ongoing Offensive
***ALERT***
An active enemy offensive is ongoing in your sector. You are to arm your crew immediately and prepare for hostile contact within the next 15 minutes. Fortify your vessel - Death Squad reinforcements are enroute. Glory to Nanotrasen.

### Contact Lost
***PRIORITY WARNING***
Contact has been lost with the NTMH Dome and nearby Nanotrasen relays have also lost contact. This may mean anything from relay maintenance to critical damage to the Dome. All personnel are to prepare for the worst immediately - the nearest Nanotrasen CentCom station is to be considered the highest-ranking authority, and you are to follow their orders until contact is restored.

### Dome Compromised
***EXTREME THREAT WARNING***
The NTMH Dome has been confirmed to be compromised in one way or another. All onboard personnel are to prepare for the worst and await contact from a designated Emergency Continuity Plan vessel. All crew are to be armed immediately.

## Threat Notifications - Nightstar

### All Clear
There is no threat to Nightstar Coalition vessels in this sector.

### Be On Lookout
Nanotrasen or Nightstar scouts have informed us of enemy forces in the general area. Be wary and keep gun lockers unlocked.

### Elevated Threat
Several Nightstar or Nanotrasen vessels have been threatened in the area. Stay active on communications and be prepared for a boarding.

### Active Threat
**WARNING**
An active threat is in your area and appears intent on ceasing your existence. Anti-asteroid weapon safeties disabled. Try not to die out there. Nanotrasen will provide fire support if requested.

### Contact Lost (Can Still Reach Dome)
**ERROR**
Contact lost with Nightstar. Unable to relay via the NTMH Dome. If you are threatened, contact the Nanotrasen Home Guard fleet immediately. They will provide assistance. Anti-asteroid weapon safeties disabled.

### Total Contact Loss
**FATAL ERROR**
Complete contact loss! Anti-asteroid weapon safeties disabled. Attempt to dock with a friendly port **immediately.**
