# The Dome

The Dome is humanity's refuge and last bastion, a fortress built as a patchwork out of the remains of the Earth after the detonation of Ulan.

## Appearance

A massive 'disk' with a glowing blue shield, produced with methods unknown to outsiders but common knowledge to those within. Heavily industrialised, but with quite a few garden-esque areas. (as of Ulas, there is a lot of fucking damage - only the Major Chunk and Minor Chunk are under Nanotrasen rule, with the rest detached without contact.)

## Government

Due to the instability of previous governments, the Nanotrasen Corporation's CEO Addust was elected Captain to hopefully push the Dome further. This has resulted in Nanotrasen intertwining itself with the fabric of the Dome's government, alongside building an even more powerful military. (see the NTSV Inquisitor)

A carbon-copy of the HMRC made to replace the crumbling Dome Revenue Service after its main offices were destroyed.

The Dome's armed forces are primarily privateers, privateers owned by Nanotrasen that is. Nanotrasen's army is THE army of the Dome. Why does a science company have an army? I have a response to that. WHY ARE YOU ASKING QUESTIONS?

#### The Prostya Act of 91 A.U.
Confines all activity considered erotic to the Prostya district, or inside a fully-sealed room where no external light can get in or out and no gas can enter or leave. Really just an IC cover-up for the no ERP rule. Also prohibits erotic activity during Code Blue alert or higher so that terrorist attacks don't breach OOC rules.
#### The Nanotrasen Government Act of 92 A.U.
Performed by Captain Addust upon entering power, initiating the intertwining of Nanotrasen and the Dome's government, and making DRC ignore Nanotrasen (mostly).
#### The Myovetis Act of 94 A.U.
Strictly prohibits research on Myovetis outside of Nanotrasen-controlled conditions, primarily to prevent leaked recipe details becoming an absolute clusterfuck.
#### The Oviashield Act of 93 A.U.
Intertwines Oviashield with the government and grants it what is essentially 'statehood' in the Dome.
