<!-- Ok, change of plans, handle turning this into the main gov info pre-restructuring since the dep. of commerce is the most seemingly changed thing, everything else seems to be pretty much the same --> ### Admiralty - big people - they manage their own defence - Manages the top-level of the government, including any and all branches. - Led by the Grand Admiral, who, due to their immortality and combat nature, literally will not be replaced, but will comply with the requests of popular votes - Has the ability to declare war - the really big shit in life innit - They are department leaders, voted from regional department leaders every few years. <!-- It'd make sense for them to be like ministers or the cabinet's secretaries, but I'd say it'd also make sense to have something else which is elected for each region and then elects the admirals. Also the name "Admiral" becomes confusing since that's also for naval shit, I don't think the department of commerce is going to be having much to do with controlling one of the heron classes or something unless it has a cargo container instead of a solcracker --> <!-- its a holdover like king charles, also yea thats a good idea every admiral gets a dept-relevant ship --> <!-- The question is what we're supposed to call military naval admirals --> <!-- admiral with a solcracker pretty much, admiral is admiral to nanotrasen. they run a department. --> <!-- with how many ships they supposedly have it'd make far more sense to have several dedicated guys who wouldn't really be the same kind of thing, this is probably one of the reasons that san would've suggested this --> <!-- actually, why don't we make some sort of document for the previous organization so that we have a distinct current thing to work off or smth, idk what else I was about to say --> - military departments however have a leader chosen by the Admiralty themselves ### Departments (This is a list describing each) - Department of the Admiralty - The Admiralty and its supporting staff fall under this department, including its security guards. Led by the Grand Admiral. - Department of Defense - Manages the Nanotrasen Military (Joint commanded by Admiral Jenkins and the Grand Admiral. Jenkins does it more because the grand admiral does shit with other departments) <!-- Yes, but I'd assume like most leaders you can also go in and do military stuff since you have a bunch of times --> - Department of Offense - exclusively just so the deathsquad has a seperate admiral <!-- I would think that this is a bit of bad PR, that's why it makes sense to hide it behind a layer of "Nah bro, defense, carry on not investigating how any of this works in case you still wouldn't be convinced" --> <!-- this is just because they have a seperate admiral (the reaper) it aint on the nanotrasen website or anything --> - Department of Commerce - In charge of trade (and industry) - Department of Agriculture - In charge of all station bioreserves. - Department of Diplomacy - Handles diplomatic relations. <!-- The point is that they kept the schematics in case of extreme situations, but that they disagree with their use and thus won't even think about making it unless quite necessary --> - Ovian Affairs Department - Only exists because Twenzu gets to be an admiral. Handles all affairs with the OVIASHIELD and its sheep people. - Department of Engineering - In charge of Nanotrasen engineering. Currently lead by admiral Dundee. - Department of Intelligence - Handles intelligence for Nanotrasen, and infiltration. (Handles black ops which is unknown to public) - Department of Transportation - Moves things. - 'Department that only legally exists so the Grand Admiral can promote 3 people to Honorary Admiral for whatever reason' - The name explains it all. Only if someone is worthy of being an Admiral due to either being an ex-member of the Board of Directors (EXCLUSIVE USE CASE FOR HENRY) or valor in combat that is not worthy of military admiral assignment - Department of Energy - Builds a lot of supermatter engines. Very closely related with Engineering. Also manages the zero-points since honestly that's more important then fixing someone's telephone line - Department of Healthcare - Nanotrasen's medical division. ## Military - Emergency Response Corps - A semi-military, semi-civilian emergency service force, with liasions from the Medical, Engineering, Military, and Admiralty departments serving the emergency medical, firefighter, police, and command roles respectively. - Nanotrasen Navy - In command of both space and ocean fleets of Nanotrasen. If a ship has the 'NTSV' prefix, it belongs under these guys. Probably. Might belong to the Admiralty. - 'Death Squad' - Listed seperately under the Department of Offense. Nanotrasen's elite strike team called out for when things are getting hairy. - Special Expeditionary Corps - A discount Deathsquad for when things are only a bit hairy. - Nanotrasen Air Force - Nanotrasen's in-atmosphere airborne enforcement. Surprisingly, all of its fighters are space-capable. - Standard Soldiers - Distinctive red jumpsuits, never replaced since Nanotrasen's corporate days. They do not need camo. Their numbers are terrifying enough, with 'small' regional garrisons often being composed of thousands of troops with plenty of tanks and helicopters. - Intelligence Agency - Occasionally trick ACLF grunts into committing terrorism. - Black Operations - ▮▮ ▮▮▮▮ ▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ <!-- it says go fuck yourself -->
