# UH Jesters Meeting Notes 2-9-22 From Last Week: - First order of businesss is getting paid. We want to raise awareness but not cause too much trouble. - Are the stakes too low to create a meaningful effect? What is the payoff? Answer: to expose the issues related to the process of writing a constitution. - Involves exaggeration - A dualing constitution: - Create two different versions that are very different, based on a schism in the group that creates opposition - Morph the two documents back and forth - Constitution vs manifesto - Record a video meeting where we are performatively arguing, in anonymous masks representing different personnas from the DAO space - Self-imposed contraints: 1hr of prep and 1hr performance - Is the deliverable the performance of writing the doc or the doc itself? - The performance is the focus! - Can we write a constitution while already having a constitution? Does this incite a revolution? Related to the ammending of the article of the confederation. - Put a pin in the constitution idea until the week after ETH Denver, to use the opportunity to begin another jest next week. - The jest for next week: **Jesters Reboot** - You can't put someone into a DAO without their consent. Giving them shares doesn't induce participation. Opt-in process is more aligned with how DAOs work. Goes against the airdrop idea. - Jesters DAO that makes proposal for funding - Another DAO that serves as governance with ownership over the Jesters DAO, composed of fake/random addresses that are unaware of being members. - Second DAO is composed of DAOs rejected from the legitimate UH reboot... the land of forgotten toys DAO. - The jest should not take up too much time from the UH delegate meeting. Next Steps: 1. Spin up a Jester DAO. 2. Make the necessary changes to the forum post. 3. Put the funding proposal on-chain. 4. Spin up a second Jester DAO to transfer our funds to after the changes to the forum proposal.
