Reflecting upon a Reboot
========================
## Introducing *Jester* paragraph (lore)
Gm. I am the Jester.
I beg for your forgiveness in advance, kind lords, even though I ask not for your permission, for I have been cast away from many a kingdom before for asking questions that are hard, and saying what others are too afraid to say. I have a bad habit of laughing at people and things that should not be laughed at.
I often do things backwards, and speak in riddles. When you despair I will tell you jokes. When you are feeling too safe I will stir up some chaos to break your boredom.
My mask is a mirror.
It reflects your own deceptions and delusions, even those that you may think are too painful to face.
Behind my mask I am many. I am made up of those who have been lead by stormy visions in their dreams.
I will freely go about the realm of Haus and beyond as my pranks require. Be sure that at the right time, you will come across me, although you might not recognise me for who I am. I like taking on many disguises. You see, I lurk in the shadows of the deepest corners of this Haus. I hear conversations on the highest levels. I hold to a certain Jesters' code, if you will. As such, it is my duty not only to lighten the air, but to offer those whispers of seedy(?) solutions I have heard.
## Paragraph about the declaration
Oh delegates, oh Warcamp, esteemed ones!
Hear me, for I am Jester!
I have come from afar and I have set up camp outside the castle walls!
One by one I invited you to my humble tent. I humbly asked for your protection, and you have treated me most kindly.
And now I have prepared a little jest just for you, in return for your generosity.
I call it the Jester's declaration and I have nailed it to the castle gates. Come closer!
Out of love for the truth and from desire to elucidate it, the Jester, Master of Jests and Jeers, and ordinary daoist therein at DAOHaus, intends to defend the following statements and to dispute on them in that place. Therefore he asks that those who cannot be present and dispute with him orally shall do so in their absence by letter. gm.
1. The king is dead, long live the king!
3. A kingdom misaligned in structure must be realigned toward the sovereign.
4. If a king relinquishes the throne, he no longer has any authority.

6. A queen must demand all subjects to bow before her.
7. A queen must occasionally hold court and listen to her subjects directly.
8. A kingdom not at war may start warring on itself.
9. Loose purse strings may keep advisors loyal to the queen.
10. Even the most wise advisor needs a monarch to check her ambitions.
11. An advisor to the queen should not make decisions on the queen's behalf.
12. The queen need not approve of all actions taken by the court.
13. An unpaid advisor is likely to defect to another kingdom.
14. There cannot be two monarchs of the same kingdom, this only leads to war.
15. Without the keys to the castle the queen can easily be locked out.
16. The queen holds court to build relations between all factions.
17. The advisors to the queen must rely on informants to build effective edicts.
18. A lord who doesn't get protection from the queen will not quickly raise arms.
19. A busy lord cannot be troubled with repeated calls to court.
20. An empty castle gets little work done.
21. A peasant who shows up at court presuming to act as a lord is a fool.
22. The queen feels no remorse for a dead fool.
23. A herald is no substitute for the royal seal.
24. The coin of the realm must find regular use among merchants.
25. And thus be confident in governance through all its tribulations, rather than allow capture to maintain peace.
