### Becoming a Shareholder in PowerHaus

*Every DAO that wants to obtain shares in PowerHaus must [join LightHaus](https://hackmd.io/@uberhaus/r1fOdiTL9/https%3A%2F%2Fhackmd.io%2FktyTdowVRvKl4inPumkrvA) first.*

Before joining PowerHaus, you will want to confirm that your DAO meets the [minimum requirements](https://hackmd.io/@uberhaus/r1fOdiTL9/https%3A%2F%2Fhackmd.io%2FuBCG6evfTXyYI21JrnYXMw) for participating.

Assuming your DAO is a member of LightHaus and holds a minimum of 10,000 Loot - proceed with making a membership proposal following the process below 👇

First, create a [forum post](https://hackmd.io/@uberhaus/r1fOdiTL9/https%3A%2F%2Fhackmd.io%2FzOhU8Y53Tp-w2024aukv9w) using the [Member Template](https://hackmd.io/@uberhaus/r1fOdiTL9/https%3A%2F%2Fhackmd.io%2F01rfaX4PR4SlmPEFeW1MYQ).

After your DAO’s membership proposal receives positive signal on the [forum](https://hackmd.io/@uberhaus/r1fOdiTL9/https%3A%2F%2Fhackmd.io%2F01rfaX4PR4SlmPEFeW1MYQ) (not a requirement), your DAO may move the membership proposal to a snapshot vote. Once on snapshot, members of LightHaus will have 5-days to vote yes/no on the new member proposal, before moving to an official on-chain proposal in PowerHaus.

PowerHaus will create a Loot <-> Share swap Membership proposal for your DAO. Once your DAO’s membership proposal has been processed by UberHaus, your DAO will gain full on-chain voting rights in PowerHaus, converting your DAO’s Loot <-> Shares, and giving your DAO the ability to vote on and ratify new proposals made in UberHaus.

*Note: If LightHaus passes a new member proposal, then membership can be fast tracked with an early execution minion/shaman. At least 3 existing DAOs must approve, and then it will convert the Loot to Shares.*
