We're asking for a retroactive tip to show appreciation for the 3+ years of hard work moderating and supporting the Portuguese-speaking community on Telegram.

While Polkadot is officially on Discord, there's still a huge demand for Telegram in certain regions due to cultural reasons. Our unofficial Telegram community never received any funding, but we've consistently followed Web3 Foundation's values by avoiding price speculation.

Since our launch in 2020, our Telegram group has seen explosive growth. It's become the go-to spot for the Portuguese-speaking community to chat, find information, and collaborate on Polkadot and Kusama. In fact, it's one of the largest Polkadot/Kusama communities on Telegram!

The funds will be split 50/50 between me (LUI5, the current Brazil Head Ambassador) and Lauro Gripa (formerly Head Ambassador, now Brazil Senior Ambassador).
