Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission released a list of 16 operators that will launch the online platform when the iGaming market kicks off on April 4.

Starting April 4, private game operators who have registered with Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission and entered into an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario can begin offering games to players in Ontario.

The reason for the two requirements is that AGCO and iGO are separate entities and must be approved by both agencies before the operator can proceed with the business in the province.

Ontario has 16 operators authorized by regulators to launch in Ontario, 41 registered operators in addition to operators, and over 700 games have been certified for use in Ontario to date. The 16 operators include:
