With a research background in digital culture and a PhD in Sociology, she works as an environmental sustainability campaigner for [StrawberryNet Foundation](https://www.sbnet.ro/). Since 2007 she has been a contributor to the [Global Information Society Watch program](https://giswatch.org/) of the Association for Progressive Communications.
