# Chapter 7. File System(Unix)

## 1. Active File Table
- 為一個資料結構。
- 可以追蹤系統中所有打開的檔案。

## 2. Active i-node(index node) table
- 為一個資料結構。
- 存放所有系統中打開的檔案的metadata。

## 3. U-ofile-x, $x\in \Bbb N$
- 為一個資料結檬。
- 為每個有打開檔案的process所擁有，追蹤其打開的檔案。
- 每個Process有打開檔案的數量上限，通常設為1024。(包括裝置的檔案)
- e.g. `/dev/sda, /dev/sr0`
