# About BigPPDAO ## Who are we? BigPPDAO is not an organisation, much less a venture capital or a fund. It is a hive of like-minded individuals, coming together on the basic premise that individuals can do much more if we pooled together our resources, networks, brains, and talents. Beyond just the provision of funds, our DAO members can provide expertise in coding, design, community building, and networking. Every individual within the DAO crafts their very own role and we as a whole aim to leverage on these talents to contribute to this exciting space. ## What do we do? BigPPDAO uses our treasury to invest in projects that show great potential. Since the founding of our DAO, our focus has been on NFTs and gaming projects. In particular, we believe that Play-to-Earn platforms have a large addressable market that transcends geographical and physical boundaries. As such, our main project involves the provision of Axie Infinity scholarships, with over 100 scholars under our care. This number is projected to grow as BigPPDAO scales in size. Beyond that, our portfolio includes various NFT collections, NFT gameplay assets, and assets in projects we believe to have strong fundamentals. We also hold investments in other DAOs to expand our reach. ## Our performance As a DAO, we have produced higher than average returns in the market since inception in June 2021 -- even during the bear market. We have since generated a 24.5% return within a month, with most of the returns distributed to DAO members. We have also diversified beyond Axie Infinity into other investments. We will continuously source for deals and seek to bring value to the projects we buy into. ## What are BigPP Condoms and... why? NFTs are taking the crypto space by storm, with generative art pieces that doubles up as membership tokens taking the lead in this cambrian explosion. However, we think utility of membership NFTs is very much underexplored and believe that the ownership of these NFTs can fuel organic growth of our very own DAO. Therefore, BigPPDAO aims to push the envelope of what’s possible in this realm. We like to think of ERC-721 tokens as tickets that allows their holders to access to different experiences. Think private events, live streams, lotteries, or even exclusive mint access to collectibles drops! The BigPPDAO Condoms signify our vision of the untapped potential behind membership NFTs and we welcome you to join us in this journey (see [roadmap](#roadmap)). All proceeds from sales will go to our DAO treasury, which will be used to invest in projects we deem to have great potential, and to generate more profits for the DAO. ## Roadmap Q3 - Lottery rewards taken from profits that BigPPDAO generates. More details to be announced closer to launch. ## Our next project We think that regenerative art is valuable in its own right, and we will be commissioning an artist for our next NFT collection.
