You are encouraged to use your own laptop because you can then practice after class. But it is fine to use the computer in the classroom.
You can use either Windows or Mac OS (operation system).

Google for "python download" and install the suitable version of Python to your laptop. (It is installed already if you use the computer in the classroom)

### Python interactive mode
Simple calculations can be done easily in python interactive mode, e.g., 1+2, print('Hello!'), etc. Give it a try!
