# Mastermind Meeting #4 9-20-2022 Group 040
## Weekly Wins
* **Wiktor:** Wins you retained 2 new clients
* **Eoin:** Made significant improvements to design
* **James:** More conversions from Elementor to Bricks
* **Tom:** Got sign off on projects
## Acountability Check-in (Eoin)
- Reduced the size of the logo
- Added how many steps are in the form
- Reduced drop shadows
- Added a nice graphic (or increased its opacity)to the main hero
- **Group:** Everyone agreed that it's looking very nice and the improvements have helped to tighten up the design and functionality
## Hot Seat (Wiktor)
### Big Picture problem
Wiktor is struggling with trying to manage his time between his academic work and his professional endeavors such as building a clientelle.
#### Needs to find ways to get new clients / business
- exprimenting with cold email outreach (LeadGator)
- Using LeadGator to identify business with no website or unclaimed businesses
- Ways in which LeadGator aggregates listings:
- scrapes google maps
- scrapes facebook
- So far Wiktor hasn't yet tested the software to see how effective it is
- Wiktor is based in the Netherlands
- Problem: he doesn't speak Dutch
- May need to partner with native Dutch speakers
- **Eoin:** suggested using Notion or some other time/project management software.
- **James:** when you perform a task multiple times then you will know how to better estimate time.
- **Tom:** have you heard of time boxing?
- Tom uses a 50 minute session with a 10 minute break
- Google it and see what others recommend
- Focus on a particular task and stick to the process rather than the outcome
- **James:** suggests getting a good night's sleep
- Netherlands business landscape: doesn't know Dutch
- Unsure of how much the market will bear in terms of business
- **Tom:** suggests trying non-profits and donating website?
- Allows for a very flexible timeline
- Clients will recommend you to others
- Non-profit clients are less picky
- You can still collect somewhat passive income with hosting and maintenance
- Wiktor feels that he simply needs to adjust to these higher demands and is going to see how he can better manage his time and address his professional goals
- How do we structure our days
- **James:** find your most productive time of day
- **James:** Lower distractions
- **Tom:** Figure out when you're more creative and feel most awake. Are you a morning person or a night person?
## Plan of action
- Focus on academics
- Experiment on the best schedules
- Experiment with timeboxing
- Productivity is the main goal
