# Mastermind Meeting #4 9-20-2022 Group 040 ## Weekly Wins * **Wiktor:** Wins you retained 2 new clients * **Eoin:** Made significant improvements to design * **James:** More conversions from Elementor to Bricks * **Tom:** Got sign off on projects ## Acountability Check-in (Eoin) - Reduced the size of the logo - Added how many steps are in the form - Reduced drop shadows - Added a nice graphic (or increased its opacity)to the main hero - **Group:** Everyone agreed that it's looking very nice and the improvements have helped to tighten up the design and functionality ## Hot Seat (Wiktor) ### Big Picture problem Wiktor is struggling with trying to manage his time between his academic work and his professional endeavors such as building a clientelle. #### Needs to find ways to get new clients / business - exprimenting with cold email outreach (LeadGator) - Using LeadGator to identify business with no website or unclaimed businesses - Ways in which LeadGator aggregates listings: - scrapes google maps - scrapes facebook - So far Wiktor hasn't yet tested the software to see how effective it is - Wiktor is based in the Netherlands - Problem: he doesn't speak Dutch - May need to partner with native Dutch speakers - **Eoin:** suggested using Notion or some other time/project management software. - **James:** when you perform a task multiple times then you will know how to better estimate time. - **Tom:** have you heard of time boxing? - Tom uses a 50 minute session with a 10 minute break - Google it and see what others recommend - Focus on a particular task and stick to the process rather than the outcome - **James:** suggests getting a good night's sleep - Netherlands business landscape: doesn't know Dutch - Unsure of how much the market will bear in terms of business - **Tom:** suggests trying non-profits and donating website? - Allows for a very flexible timeline - Clients will recommend you to others - Non-profit clients are less picky - You can still collect somewhat passive income with hosting and maintenance - Wiktor feels that he simply needs to adjust to these higher demands and is going to see how he can better manage his time and address his professional goals - How do we structure our days - **James:** find your most productive time of day - **James:** Lower distractions - **Tom:** Figure out when you're more creative and feel most awake.
