# :telephone_receiver: Mastermind Meeting Call #2, 9-6-2022

**Wiktor:** Asked client to begin project so that it didn't interrupt his school work. Due to communication issues, he was not able to complete the job. The client wanted to get the job done in just three days. Had to let the client know that he couldn't do the job in that time frame and that they need to respect Wiktor's time.

**James:** Downloaded Frames, tried to use it on a "Squeeze Page" but didn't work. Got it working, but with a lot of headaches. Lesson is just forging ahead, sticking with it. Frames seems like something he'll use moving forward.

**Eoin:** Got Frames before it closed.

**Tom:** Signed first 5k+ client.

**James:** Struggles with Mock-ups. Building a presence website or brochure web site,

### Problems:
1. Not a designer, but understands design fundamentals. Not sure how or when to decide if it should be a converting website or brochure web site.
2. Not good with Figma, or other deisgn tools. Thinking of using Frames to use for wireframing and farming out the design.

James is not happy with what the designer provided, via Fiverr.

**Tom:** Identify business goals, and from that decide what conversions should be for that particular site. Use what you are comfortable with in terms of design.

**Wiktor:** Use a UI KIT to help design or wireframe. Files.design Save yourself some money and do this yourself.

**Eoin:** Perhaps use a "check availablility" widget on website to avoid the pain point that is mulitple calls checking for availability. Low availability is a good problem to have.

**James:** Idea: Track calls from website by using analytics from site to determine how folks are visiting.

**Tom:** Potentially add a question to your form asking how people found your website, and ask the staff who answers the phone to ask in order to build up your dataset.

**Eoin:** HTML to Figma plugin then they can add the design or fancy bits to the Figma.

**Wiktor:** Divide build into smaller steps and approach it step by step so that it is easier and faster.

**Eoin:** Posted a form that gathers information to help build wireframes, it is in German. May need to translate.

## :star2: Action Plan to resolve the identified problem(s)
**James' plan of action:** Is going to try using Figma to send wireframe files to designer using figma. Might end up using Figma to HTML plugin in order to convert the design to basic markup. James is also going to think about identifying business goals in order to figure out what a conversion or conversions are on this website (what do I want my users to do?)
