# Liverpool Salah Calls for Humanitarian Intervention

Egyptian striker Muhammad Salah (Liverpool) urged world leaders to step up to prevent innocent lives from being sacrificed amid the war between Israel and Palestinian militant Hamas.

Salah posted a video on his social media (SNS) on the 18th asking for humanitarian intervention from each country in the Israeli-Palestinian war.

Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden asked Israel to allow humanitarian aid to Gaza, and Israel said it would allow entry into Gaza only for food, water, and medicine.

Meanwhile, a massive explosion killed hundreds of civilians at al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City, northern Gaza, on the afternoon of the 17th.

Hamas-ruled Gaza health ministry said 471 people were killed in hospital explosions.
