# Singular Statemine: The Drop Launch Party Months ago, we added support for showing Statemine NFTs in the Singular UI. With a bit of testing from [Gavin Wood himself](https://twitter.com/gavofyork/status/1444335610022481933?s=20), we polished the experience enough to be a good read-only environment. Since then, hundreds of people have asked us "wen Statemine", referring to the inability to trade (i.e. dump) their promotional NFTs from Parity. ![](https://i.imgur.com/D3FqBbK.png) It was a challenging and dangerous task, adding trading to a chain with no logic for it, but the wait is finally over. ## The Launch We're happy to announce the immediate availability of NFT trading on Statemine. Starting today, you can put your NFTs up for sale (for a fixed price) and buy them from others. The way this works right now is: - when putting an NFT up for sale, you will be asked to sign a transaction which will Approve RMRK's wallet to take it from you and set a price in our database - when someone buys it, they will pay this to our wallet, our wallet will take the NFT from you, and then do the switch, sending you the money, and them the NFT Because of this flow, the history of an NFT when inspected through transactions will indicate that it changed more hands than it did, but this is necessary for a secure sale flow and to prevent double-buys. As a celebratory promotion and to encourage initial volume, we have teamed up with Andreas Preis, the artist of one of the original three NFTs, to produce a fourth beautiful piece. ![](https://i.imgur.com/NBKXUdy.jpg) Anyone with a full set of the original three NFTs will be airdropped this NFT for free. The rules are: - you **must** set up your Singular space identity and **must** have an avatar and a banner configured - to get an avatar and a banner: - you need to own some NFTs on [Singular](https://singular.rmrk.app) - a square NFT will be addable as an avatar - a landscape-format NFT will be addable as a background banner - you are fine to mint your own NFTs to configure this, insteead of buying them - you must have all three original NFTs in the same wallet on January 31st. You can find all the NFTs for sale by using the "For Sale" filter on the [Explore](https://singular.rmrk.app/collectibles/statemine) page. - if you have multiple sets you get multiple drops ## 🚨 Caution Because of the way Statemine is designed - to give absolute control to asset issuers no matter what - it is possible (by design) to delete NFTs that are owned by other people if the issuer of the collection decides to do this. Hence, it is inherently unsafe to buy NFTs on Statemine because there is *always* a chance that the issuer will freeze transfers, reclaim the NFTs, or even delete them right out of your wallet. Please keep this in mind when participating in this ecosystem. The adage of not spending money you cannot afford to lose applies here just as much if not more.
