# RMRK.app Hackathon

The hackathon has 3 KPIs:

- community buzz and social growth (expected: +5000 twitter followers, +1000 newsletter signups)
- userbase growth (expected: +100k USD per week Kanaria+Singular volume, currently ~500k and dropping)
- hiring (expected: at least 2 enthusiastic juniors or one senior, not necessarily blockchain-familiar)

The hackathon should last throughout October to coincide with Hacktoberfest. Explore options for collaborations.

## Rewards

- 10k USD per category: 6k, 3k, 1k USD.
- total: 50000 USD
- possibly more if sponsors decide on new categories and want to fund them.
- NFT for each participant

- [ ] Contact [sponsors](#potential-sponsors), allow them to propose a category or bind their name to a category. I.e. "Helper tools, sponsored by D1"
- [ ] Push our PR before the end of September to build hype
- [ ] Publish a devpost campaign
- [ ] Explore co-marketing or co-branding with Hacktoberfest
- [ ] Create the following key-gated endpoints
- [ ] Fetch all RMRK 1 NFTs per user account, created and owned (two separate objects)
- [ ] Fetch all RMRK 1 collections created by user
- [ ] Fetch RMRK 1 collection information by ID
- [ ] Fetch all RMRK 2 NFTs per user account, created and owned (two separate objects)
- [ ] Fetch all RMRK 2 collections created by user
- [ ] Fetch RMRK 2 collection information by ID
- [ ] Optional, if possible, double buy protection for wallet builders (some are bound to try)
- [ ] Create art for all participants to get POAP NFTs, potentially compatible with Kanaria
- [ ] Create art for banners around the hackathon, maybe per category for a nice landing page
